I went there yesterday for a bowl of laksa.
The shop was recently renovated and there are great improvements to the air-conditioning and general cleanliness. The cooking area has been moved into the rear of the shop compared to at the front and I kinda miss seeing the cooking 🤧
The price has increased over the years and it is now entering the "middle" category (as opposed to "very affordable" in the past) with prices beginning at RM 12. Regardless, it has been balanced out by the addition of a bit more noodles and other ingredients and I'm okay with that. Most importantly, the taste hasn't diminished...
Read moreOrdered laksa, bian nvk, and kampua. Probably shouldn't name themselves as original. Taste is okay but cannot compare to those in Sibu. Sliced meat is served rather generously tho. The noodles in laksa is definitely different (mee hoon sort-of + yellow noodles).
On the other hand, the drinks are really good. 🥰👍 Ordered kopi peng and teh peng.
