This review was based on my recent dissatisfaction of getting a drink at chagee as a whole and not to blame any staff. I felt that the staff was inexperience at taking walk-in order. I ordered a simple drink "osmanthus oolong tea" , she took my order as osmanthus oolong milk tea and charged me 14.90. Once I got the receipt and realised the error, I informed them that I just want a tea not milk tea. She reconfirmed with me again that I just wanted pure tea and charged me 14.50 but based on the menu it should be 12.90. I wondered why but didn't further enquire about it. She also didn't ask me for sugar level. I have ordered many teas from other brands before, usually the staff will ask you for sugar level if there is a choice. I also assumed that pure tea should be sugarless.
When I got the tea and tried, it was so sweet that I couldn't take it and didn't finish the drink. My order was so simple. I just wanted a cold osmanthus oolong tea. But ended up overpaying with what I didn't like. The entire experience was bad.
The staff was polite, she did apologise for the first wrong order which I understand and don't mind. I just felt that the staff should be better trained at taking order to avoid such issue. I am not even sure the drink I eventually got was pure tea or not based on the price...
Read moreWhile I was doing my assignment at the shop, a man came in asking customers for donations. Most tables, including ours, politely declined, and he moved on. However, when he approached a table of female students, he persisted even after they politely declined, making them visibly uncomfortable. My friend eventually had to step in and ask him to leave because he was essentially harassing them.
The man left but returned twice more, going around asking for donations again. What concerned me most was that the staff didn’t intervene or ask him to leave. While I understand staff may be limited in what they can do, I hope the management can implement policies to handle such situations in the future. It’s unsettling to think what could happen if someone were alone and had to deal with a similar situation without help.
I hope Chagee can take this feedback to ensure all customers feel safe and comfortable in their stores. Please also be cautious of this man and anyone who might...
Read moreI hope Chagee Management will pay serious careful attention. In fact, a few times I visited chagee, I felt that the floor was slippery and I almost fell.
But when I visited again this time, I unfortunately fell down. I slipped and bumped into the stairs. It was very painful. My whole state was confused. There is no caring staff to help people up.
Enduring the pain, I went in and told the staff to pay attention for improvements. However the staff shirks responsibility.
Chagee is selling drinks, the floor is inevitably slippery.
Suggest improvement at least check the floor inside and outside regulary.
It would be really bad if the person you slipped and bumped into was a pregnant woman causing a miscarriage or an elderly person. I hope Chagee Management will pay serious...
