Serves Western food like Grill/Fried Chicken or Lamb, Burger, Wrap, Cheese Macaroni, Nuggets, Fries, Wedges, Salad (Jelatah), Cheese (toppings), Rice, etc. The servings ranges from Individual, Couple, Family and Party sizes. Their specialty it's lava like cheese toppings.

Atmosphere: 4.25🌟 This branch is quite good. Place is big and plenty of seats. Some seats has cushions and tables are quite far apart from each other. There are also seats with their own barricade suitable for more private groups (but no individual rooms). Air Conditioning is good and some spots have fans so the place isn't hot at all.

Service: 2.5🌟 Service is kinda okay but we can see for sure there's a lack of workers or a better system. We're the 1st group that arrives at around 12:03 and there's no one at the counter so we have to wait awhile. We observed this happens to other customers as well, sort of like playing hide and seek. Apparently the Casher/Orderer also has to help out in other areas/Kitchen. Attitude is decent but doesn't looks very happy to serve despite that the shop just open for the day. The plates are not put in place and only available when asked. Then we were told that the Cheese ran out (when the shop just opened) which means lack of proper planning and management. We end up having to wait for another 45+ minutes for the 2nd set with the cheese to come.

Food: Set Talam 3.5🌟 There are 3 sizes i) Couple - Set Manjun - For 2 person ii) Family - Set Lanang - For 4 to 5 person iii) Kenduri - Set Bersiong - For 8 to 10 person We had Couple/Manjun Set which comes with Nasi Arab 3.5🌟 Salad Yogurt 3🌟 Fries 2.5🌟- Too soft/not crispy but has some chili powder special spcies sprinkled to it which taste quite good 4 Nuggets 3.5🌟- Feels fresher than other restaurants 2 Quarter size Peri Peri/BBQ Chicken 3.25🌟- Quite dry but flavor is not bad 1 Quarter size Crispy/Fried Chicken 3.5🌟- Crispy and flavour is quite good but unfortunately the sprices is not mix well so some parts is more salty than others Priced at Rm 49.90+

The cheese does adds on visual points but taste wise not by a lot. Need to eat them while they are still warm else it will be even worse. Priced at Rm 59.90+

Drinks: Grapes and Red Guava 3.25🌟 Grapes is not too sweet but Guava maybe a bit sweet. There supposed to be 3 drinks but 1 of the machine is spoilt. This drink is free flow for Rm 5+

I came to Chicken Royale with high expectations, as my partner had recommended their Nasi Arab, praising its flavor. To be fair, the Nasi Arab did not disappoint in taste; it was quite appetizing, with well-balanced flavors. However, the presentation could use some work. The plating felt a bit lackluster, which impacted the overall dining experience. For the price, it’s a decent offering, but I believe with a little more attention to detail, this dish could stand out much more.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Peri Peri chicken was extremely disappointing. To start with, the portion size was unexpectedly small, especially considering the price of RM18.90. The chicken itself was far too small for a main course, while the wedges, which were meant to be a side, took up most of the plate. It felt like I was paying more for the side dish than the actual chicken. For this price point, I expected a much more generous portion of chicken, and better balance between the main and side dishes.

I truly believe this restaurant has the potential to be much better. There’s a lot of room for growth, particularly in terms of portion sizes and plating. As a fellow Malay, I want to see businesses like this succeed and expand, but you need to elevate your service and overall dining experience to meet customer expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively, as I genuinely believe that with a few improvements, this place could...

Overall portions are ok perfect for families to enjoy & the price is quite affordable too for a "Nandos alternative" ...one of the bummer for me is the sauce.. i was expecting it might have tastes like nandos mild/medium sauce which has tht tanginess and spiced taste to it instead it tastes like usual Mandy Rice chili salata or Nasi Ayam sambal sauce ... The chicken was ok and sometimes a bit dry however the taste was acceptable but i hope in the future they give a brush of that peri peri sauce to elevate the taste of the chicken other than bringing some color to it..for the rice it was perfect love it but the choice of veggies hmmm a bit appalled by tht especially the portion is quite little mybe some leaf salads won't hurt but yeah i thought the salad given is yogurt based haha ...and yeah the taste of the salad is too sweet hope they can reduce tht just give a balanced taste of tht mayo in the salad ...a simple tangy,citrusy dressings might be suffice .. overall a great place to chill with family and treat the children ... Hope some of the lackings can be improved the product has...
