Had dinner at D’Balqis Thai Tomyam. The restaurant was packed, and the waiter informed us that food would take about an hour to be ready, quite a long wait. We decided to go for Meggi Celup Daging since it could be served faster. The broth was on the sweeter side and lacked the usual lime water or slices that would’ve balanced the flavor. The dish came with meat slices, meat tendons, and meatballs.
Tried the Lokching pulut sausages too. They were nicely char-grilled, but again, the sauce was overly sweet. A touch of spiciness would’ve made it better.
Prices are reasonable, but the long waiting time might not be worth...
