M Design Hotel Bangi — Hotel in Kajang Municipal Council

I checked into this hotel on August 15, and it was an extremely poor experience — the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The parking area was very dark. The bathroom was extremely small; I couldn’t even close the door while showering. The paint on the walls was clearly peeling off and had not been repaired, making the room completely uncomfortable. The soundproofing was terrible — I could hear the doorbell from the lobby stairway inside my room.

For a business traveler, perhaps enduring one night might still be acceptable. However, in the middle of the night, it started raining. The sound of the rain hitting the window felt like a thunderstorm right beside me. This hotel has been operating for so long — how could they not realize that their building structure cannot withstand rain properly? I tried to believe it was just a particularly heavy downpour that night.

Later, an alarm went off. I wasn’t sure if it was from the hotel or a neighboring building, but it rang for at least 15 minutes before stopping. I told myself maybe it was just bad luck — after all, I chose the hotel, and rain or alarms are sometimes unpredictable.

But the next morning, when I checked out, I discovered something even worse: someone had tried to steal my car’s windshield wiper. They weren’t experienced enough to remove it, but in the process of trying, they broke it completely.

This is outrageous — what kind of place is this, where even windshield wipers get stolen? I went to the hotel lobby to ask about CCTV footage, but their cameras only cover the entrance of the hotel, nowhere else.

I wish I had discovered this hotel earlier. Their service is very good, very accommodating in allowing me for early check-in and late check-out. Rate is fair considering the location.||||The hotel has no elevator and toilet in the room is raised, accessed by steps but those are the only cons in my opinion. ||||Room I got was on the first floor. It is spacious, bright and clean. Aircond and hot shower decent. Recommended for young travellers who don't mind climbing up...

The toilet was so dirty! There was dirt and mold on it.

There was a guy at the counter who didn't look friendly, and I wasn't sure if he was an employee. He was sitting on a chair outside and reading his phone before, and when I saw him again, he was sitting at the counter, and there was the same female employee there. I felt a little insecure...
