A Remarkable Arabic Culinary Journey

Dear Al Diafah Restaurant - Kajang Team,

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the truly remarkable dining experience I had at your exceptional Arabic restaurant. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with captivating aromas and a warm ambiance that transported me to a different world.

I wish to give a special shoutout to Mr. Walid, whose outstanding service elevated the evening to new heights. His in-depth menu knowledge and heartfelt recommendations added a personalized touch that made the experience even more memorable.

The culinary journey I embarked upon was beyond exceptional. The flavors, the presentation, and the authenticity of each dish spoke volumes about the dedication and skill of your chefs. It's evident that every dish was crafted with passion and a commitment to delivering an extraordinary dining affair.

The staff's impeccable service and genuine hospitality added to the overall charm of the evening. It's clear that Al Diafah Restaurant - Kajang is where culture, cuisine, and warm hospitality come together seamlessly.

Thank you, Al Diafah Restaurant - Kajang, for offering not just food but an experience that's etched in my memory. I eagerly look forward to my next visit and creating more delightful memories.

Arab cuisine at its finest. The Bandar Baru Bangi branch is a bit small compared to Seri Petaling's main branch. At the front of the shop you are greeted with huge arrays of middle eastern's confectionery which are air flown from various countries. Rangging from dates to turkish delights, the selections are endless. You are greeted with warm welcome from the staff and they will escorted you to your seats just like a VIP. The ambiance are top notch, the mood and settings reflects avant gardeness and the feel of a posh restaurant. Look at the menu, the selections are huge and we dont know what to order. At the end, we proceed with the same old menu from each middle eastern, the chicken and lamb mandy! The food are delicious (exceptionally) the chicken mandy are well marinated and seasoned, you will never feel bored and wonder, why on earth i have not found this restaurant earlier? The lamb mandy are good, however the downside is the price a bit steep compares to the chicken mandy (huge price difference). In short, it is a must go restaurant for those who enjoys middle...

I ordered the whole chicken Mendy rice which is very reasonable price for 4-5 person dining (around RM85++). The taste is as expected when you eat Arabian rice, it's full of spices and very tender chicken. Only downside is I feel like the seasoning of the chicken is a little overly done. Only a tiny bit. The portion is as expected, plenty as we didn't even managed to finish our meal.

I also ordered the kunafa, although interestingly it doesn't come with any syrup. So it doesn't have the sweetness that you'd expect when it comes to kunafas. Not sure why they didn't add it. Probably that's the way the serve it, or if they just simply forgot to add it.

Ambience of the place is top notch. You'll definitely feel like you're in the Middle East or something. And it's also suitable to bring your whole family to the place, although admittedly the place is quite small for an...

I was here to take away kunafe only This is a fine dining restaurant. Very fancy. The decor all looks expensive. In front is shop selling honey, middle easterns snacks i think. Walk through it and you will arrive at the restaurant part of the shop. I am dissapointed with the kunafe here. I tried kunafe before at Samad al Iraqi restaurant in KL and it was marvelous. Unfortunately the kunafe here is dry. Lacking the sugar syrup. Kunafe is suppose to be "swimming" in sugar syrup. The cheese is tasteless and without enough sugar syrup, it can get really tasteless. Only some part of the kunafe has the sugar taste. So i think the amount of sugar syrup pour into it was really little. The cheese also taste different. They were using different kind of cheese. Definitely not the kind of cheese that you can pull. Maybe this is different version of kunafe and i dont like it.

We've been loyal customers of Aldiafah Restaurant for over 10 years, and it has consistently delivered superb service and top-quality food every single time. From the very beginning until now, nothing has changed—the standard is still perfect. The nasi Arab here is hands down one of the best you can find—fragrant, flavourful, and always served hot. The grilled chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, and don’t even get me started on the Arabic tea and caramel pudding—both are a must-try and always leave us wanting more. A special shoutout to Walid, who has been providing us with excellent service since I was 14—I'm 23 now! His hospitality and friendliness are unmatched, and it’s staff like him that keep us coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Arabic food with warm, welcoming service. This place is truly a gem in Kajang!
