Overrated and overhype. I wouldn't recommend. Here's why. Menu through QRcode, other than it took away the first impression of experience here bcs using customer resources (phone, internet data). The code not really order through ur phone and only menu. You have to walk all the way to cashier to finalize order and payment. It doesn't make sense and the instructions are not clear. I hate the ordering experience here. I'm young adult and I still find it hard, imagine if coming here in big group or adults.
Not so generous portion compare with the price they offer. Look at the size of drummet, the same size as my pinky!
Spoon provided for drinks not suitable, short spoon for tall cup? Really?
Service just aren't the best, Had to called them few times due to forgot the cheese dipping, straw, instructions unclear. It was frustrated as the restaurant not even packed and staffs even slacking off.
The good part of our experience here was the food taste good, fries perfectly fried, our korean sauce taste very nice. Kudos to kitchen staffs. Hand washing station provide non diluted hand soap which I appreciate. But with bill total up Rm60 for 2, I don't feel it's worth it.
Maybe the business quickly expand the business without acknowledge that these little things matter and giving major impression...
Read moreThey experimented our patience after being told by staff to place their orders from scanning the QR code available at the table. Get this there was an online payment option available and no sign anywhere saying order has to be placed ans paid at the counter.
My family and I arrived at 8 pm, placed an order by 8.20 pm and only at 8.45 pm some one realises that we have placed an order on their online system. Best part was we were sitting right in front of the counter.
Then this guy comes and tells us 'next time don't order online your food will be delayed'. First off we were told by their staff to do so and second off nowhere else does it say to do otherwise, so what are we suppose to conclude with the information available to us?
Our food only arrived at 9.20, after I went to the counter myself realising that those who arrived after us and place their orders at the counter after 8.45 have received their order and we have not. Again he was rude to me, honestly it felt like they couldn't be bothered and didn't want us there because we were not one of them. So for those of you who catch the drift, stay clear from this place.
If all went well I would have rated 4 stars because the food was decent but the service has superseeded all else as the biggest disappointment on...
Read moreI discovered this restaurant through its joint venture with Restoran Mak Kimbong for a Ramadhan iftar event at MAEPS, Serdang, though I hadn’t been there myself. The location is a bit tucked away among a row of shops and car workshops, making parking a challenge during peak hours. Luckily, as we arrived on a Sunday midday, most surrounding shops were closed, leaving ample parking spots available.
Despite a good crowd, there were still plenty of seats available. The menu is accessible by scanning a QR code, but orders and payment must be done at the counter, which can be a bit inconvenient.
I initially wanted watermelon juice, but it wasn’t available. Instead, I went with Lai Ci Kang, which was superb. For our group of six adults and three kids, we ordered the Talam Kekwa and Talam Orked sets, along with additional fried squid and keropok lekor. While the sets were flavorful, most of the dishes were too spicy for the kids, who ended up enjoying the crispy batter of the fried squid instead.
The ambiance was pleasant, with traditional Malay-inspired contemporary music playing, creating a nice setting for enjoying kampung-style dishes.
Overall, the experience was fine, though I’m not in a rush to return...
