Visited Restaurant Yip Sheng for lunch for the first time, and it was a pretty memorable experience.

One thing to note right away—there’s no printed menu with standard pricing. Instead, you’ll find the list of available dishes posted on the wall, which might be a bit confusing for first-timers like us. Prices aren’t displayed clearly, and to be honest, I found them a little on the higher side. But in terms of taste, they really delivered.

Since we weren’t sure what to go for, we asked the waitress for recommendations and decided to try several of their flagship dishes. Every single one turned out to be delicious—well-prepared with quality ingredients and full of flavor. You can tell the chefs here know what they’re doing.

A nice bonus was the complimentary soup of the day, which was comforting and tasty—always a pleasant touch.

The restaurant has a traditional Chinese dining vibe, with a simple setup and a steady stream of regulars, which speaks to their reputation. Staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for suggestions.

Overall, while the lack of a proper menu and pricing transparency could be improved, the food speaks for itself. Great for small group meals or family gatherings if you’re okay with a slightly higher budget.

Would return again to try more dishes—but next time, I’ll ask about prices before ordering just to avoid...

Due to MCO, planing to take away, called and order Food by 6pm, After done Ordering str away hang out my phone without give me the chance to ask when can collect, and that's fine to me, and i arrived there by 7.30pm, thinking that should be done by then, but turn out still waiting, after 20minuter waited, i ask about the lady Boss there about my meal, and she said nearly done, and after 15minutes, the new customers who walk-in also collect their meal, i starting to get bit angry and ask the lady Boss with a bit angry sound, and turn out the lady boas refuse to answer, and Smash the paper to table, and humming ''urge, urge, urge, keep urge''.

With this kind attitude, a loyal customer since 9 years like me, will stop going by today, what a bad attitude since get famous, if can, i wouldn't even rate a Star, this restaurant only deserve...

First time visit to this chinese casual dining restaurant.

We were a party of 7 persons for weekend dinner

This place is in Bandar Tech Kajang / Senenyih...

The restaurant was busy at 7.30 but they had sufficient staff and service was fast and professional

Ordered Salted egg chicken Salt Deep Fried Chicken Sweet Sour Sliced Fish Claypot Tofu Stir Fried Kai Lan Yau Mak Brinjal with Minced Meat & Salted Fish

The food was pretty good overall and the special mention is the brinjal and salted egg chicken.

I highly recommend this place for the reasonable price of the food which came out to RM230 (excluding the 2 large Guinesss)

The overall ambience is comfortable, clean and rather pleasant. Its not a fancy place but great for a decent chinese meal .

Will definately go...

my family has brought an expensive fish over to cook over this place. we did call and confirm whether we can bring our own material and process at this place. The fish costs roughly RM200. The waiter has served to the wrong table. Whole of our family waiting for the fish to be served. They didnt realise the food was wrongly served and not wanting to admit the mistake... And the only respond from the restaurant side just saying "Sorry"? helloooo, this is the way of settling this issue? Replacing me with a dish with a sweet sour pork slides? So,you are giving free fish to the table that you wrongly served?! Did you charge them? and replacing my family with a sweet&sour pork slides? You seriously?! Anyhow,we still paid for the bill despite the fish I bought RM200. I want your manager to contact me!

Food is good but the only problem is there is no menu to choose food and the waitress will just ask us what we want. How to order? And she will just tell few things they have for us to order from that. And also tricky when there is no price list as well because you might end up pay more or overcharged. Malaysian law says that price of the food must be shown clearly before the customer buy it. We sat outside the restaurant and there is menu in Chinese language on the wall I guess. How if Malay restaurant write in jawi and Indian restaurant write in tamil? Still there is no clear pricelist for the Food! Hope the restaurant changed the way its operates and print the menu in English or Malay to cater the multi racial Malaysian.
