I would like to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my recent visit to your outlet. One of the staff members, named Thia (who wears spectacles), was extremely rude and unprofessional.

We understand that there may be a waiting time, and we were willing to wait patiently. However, we were left standing at the counter for nearly 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. Despite another staff member informing her that customers were waiting, she responded loudly, “Lantak la , tengah buat kerja. Apa aku nak buat?” a comment we clearly overheard.

As paying customers, it was deeply upsetting to hear such words. We did not come expecting free service — a simple gesture like saying “Please give us a moment, we’ll attend to you shortly” would have made a big difference.

I sincerely hope the management will take this feedback seriously and provide proper training on customer service and professionalism. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, and experiences like this only discourage us from returning.

This is not the first time we’ve experienced this issue. One night, we placed an order around 10:20 PM through the Zus app. Before ordering, we checked the closing time, which was stated as 10:40 PM. However, when we arrived at the outlet, the staff was already preparing to close.

I understand everyone wants to go home early, but the team should still follow the outlet’s official closing time. When I asked the staff, they claimed they never received the order, but it had gone through on the app. They then admitted they had forgotten to turn off the ordering system.

One of the staff members asked me to cancel the order. With my permission, he took my phone and attempted to contact customer service via the Zus app but selected the wrong outlet as the reason for cancellation, which was very disappointing. The level of honesty in handling the situation was also concerning.

The next day, I returned to the outlet to follow up. The staff checked the system and eventually provided me with the drinks I had ordered the previous night.

As a loyal customer, I sincerely hope my feedback will be taken seriously. We truly appreciate and support local businesses like ZUS, and we’re proud to see a homegrown brand reaching such great heights, comparable to international standards.

However, I recently had an unpleasant experience that left me feeling disrespected. To be honest, I sensed some racial bias from a staff member, which was deeply hurtful and unacceptable. I apologize if the term sounds strong, but as a customer, it’s important to express how it made me feel.

We don’t expect perfection, but we do expect basic respect and professionalism. While not all outlets show poor service, this particular incident was disappointing.

I hope the management will address this issue seriously. Rather than taking disciplinary action, I suggest offering customer service training or workshops to educate staff on respectful and inclusive service. This would be a more effective and positive approach.
