Authentic Boat Noodle — Restaurant in Kedah

I can’t comprehend why this eatery doesn’t have a rating higher than 4.5, or why some people have left negative reviews. From my experience, this place is fantastic!

The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly appetizing. The service is fast, and the staff are polite and attentive. Honestly, there’s no reason to complain about this eatery.

I ordered their Nasi Khamok (Thai-style biryani rice with fragrant spices), and it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I also tried their Daging Bakar Dannok (grilled marinated beef dipped in sweet and spicy thai chilli sauce), and it was outstanding. The meat was tender and juicy, the seasoning was spot on, and the dipping sauce was a perfect match. I highly recommend these two dishes – you won’t regret it!

If there were issues in the past, I’m confident they’ve learned and made vast improvements. Everything about my visit was excellent.

Staff sangat sombong. Dine in for iftar, i ordered only two main course which is nasi phad phed and nasi khaomok. Only nasi phad phed was send to our table. Im waiting untill 8pm. Everyone in the cafe had finished with their meals, except for me. I was asking the staff where is my food, they only said 'sat sat'. Fyi, i already booked the table and menu earlier. Not walk in. My kids kept on saying hungry. After third time i am asking my meals, still no action, it is ok. Since 2018 i came here, but today maybe was my last time. Your staff asking everyone in the cafe about the meals, except for us. Even me and my kid hungry, we still managed to ask politely. But still no food arrive at our table...

First dan last mai sini. Slow gilerrr.. Order nasi khaomok 2, tomyam celup 2, sangkaya 1, kuih hijau putih tu 1. Masa order cashier kata lambat sikit sebab ada lg 6 meja tak buat lg.. sis ok lah sebab satu meja average dlm 3-4 org ja. Tomyam sampai lepas lebih kurang setengah jam. Sebelum tu ada mai habaq sangkaya habis. Hurmm xtau nk order apa utk anak 5thn. Tanya nasi dia xmau. So tak ganti apa2.

Lepas dekat sejam nasi tak sampai2.. tengok meja sebelah dapat dulu. Tapi depa sampai lambat lagi daripada kami, kiranya husband sempat solat dulu la baru depa sampai. Panggil waiter dia p check tp x habaq apa2. Tengok meja lagi satu yg baru mai jugak dapat sangkaya. Dia lalu, tanya kata ayam tengah goreng. Sis syak dia baru goreng lepas tanya tu. Kira mcm terskip order. Tanya kenapa depa tu dapat sangkaya, kata habis. Cashier tu kata ooo tadi roti habis. Ni baru open order balik. Takdak empathy langsung..sepatutnya mai la tanya, nk lagi dak sangkaya sebab roti baru sampai. Lepas nasi sampai baru teringat kuih hijau tu tak sampai lagi.. kata biaq p la, takda mood dh nk makan. Lepas siap makan, baru nak bangun p bayar..br mai hantar kuih..kata kt waiter sorry cancel lah.. xdak mood dh nk makan. Sepatutnya mai hantar masa tunggu sejam lebih tu sebab kuih tu mmg siap ada kat kaunter dh pon.

P/s: Bunga2 atas makanan tu x mampu nk sejukkan hati sis kalau...
