There is many varieties of food selling here beside the fried fish dish. The one I wish to recommend is the local side dish call 菜头糕/Caitao cake or better known as Turnip / Radish Cake. The fried skin is crispy while the core is tender, smell & taste good! Other piece is 薄餅/Spring Roll which is good combo. Each dish come with Local blended Thai chilli sauce, which enrich the taste! Radish Cake cost Rm1.50/pc & Spring Roll is Rm1.20/pc. The price very competitive & is one of best Radish Cake I ever had at Alor Setar. Highly recommended to all! This restaurant/coffee shop is famous for its fish head bee hoon. For me, the soup is really nice. Aromatic and really rich in flavor. But the fish isn't so much.. they use the river water fish, and the muddy smell is really strong even after deep frying. I also ordered curry mee, not bad. Generous amount of ingredients, inexpressive pricing. Oo Jian the fried oyster and fried carrot cake were the star of the show that night.
