Oren Cafe (Warung Oren) — Restaurant in Kelantan

Asked several ore KB where's a good place for breakfast and most highly recommended this place with a warning= long wait time.

So we went at 7am on a Tuesday when they're just opened - there were plenty of tables. The place is full by 720am. Pensioners, families with young children, officeworkers. Quite a mix of patrons. All locals.

There is a nostalgic 90s aura about this place. Kopitiam tables, wooden stools, mood lighting, lounge music. Even though situated by the busy road, there is tranquility once you're inside.

The roti mozza is full of mozzarella with a choice of sardines, beef or chicken. It reminds of me pizzas of my childhood. The place prepares all type of toasts. They also have consignment items such as nasi bungkus and kuih muihs. Drinks do take ages for some reason and is a possible area for improvement.

There's a designated parking area. The whole place is jammed because it's kubang kerian and not solely because people are lining up to eat here.

All in all a nice experience, if you have plenty of time...

You have to drop by to this cafe if you are visiting Kota Bharu .. especially the Royal Town of Kubang Kerian. Located just beside KFC Kubang Kerian. Their special dishes here are toasted bread with home made Kaya and half boiked egg. Their teh tarik also not bad... marvelous... A little bit crowded from 8.00am to 10.00am. If you to come by group.. you have to make a reservation.. you can google for the phone number.. They also served local cuisine such as nasi lemak, nasi tumpang, nasi dagang and pulut pagi... abd for your desert.. you can choose from varities of famous Kelantan Kueh. Just bring your family and friends here for brekfast. You won't be regret as you can taste the marvelous delicious yummylicious breakfast to suit...

Went for breakfast on a saturday at 8am and the place was fully packed. Took us around 10 mins to secure ourselves a table. Called the staff to clear our table. Then took another full 5-10 mins for the waiter to take our order. The waiter initially waived his hand as a signal for us to wait after being called to attention twice. Took too long so we went to the counter to order ourselves but were told to wait again - twice. The lot is really small so it’s a crowded space. Really need to improve on the service. Would not recommend if you’re in a rush to get your food. The drink is a calling for...
