Walked in and found limited paid street parking nearby. The staff sanitized the table with Dettol before seating — a nice hygienic touch. You’ll need to order and pay at the counter first, and food is served by waitress.
The café layout is interesting — half brick-and-mortar concept, while the other half feels like a greenhouse garden, cozy with natural light and relaxing vibes.
I ordered:
Croissant Hotdog (Beef Sausage)
Iced Liberica Kopi with Fresh Milk
Big Breakfast (Chicken option)
Iced Finest Belgian Chocolate
Drinks were served first, though one glass was full and the other barely so — didn’t ask, just went with it 😅.
☕ Chocolate – Thick, creamy, and aromatic. ☕ Liberica Coffee – Mild and light, leaning more towards milk and water than strong coffee flavor.
🍳 Big Breakfast – A hearty plate with croissant, hotdog, double sunny side eggs, fresh fruits, tomato, and butter.
Fruits and vegetables were fresh.
Croissant crispy with a buttery aroma.
Hotdog thick, long, and tasty.
Butter was preheated and melted, making it easy to spread — nice touch!
🥐 Croissant Hotdog – Comes with taco and cheese sauce on the side.
Taco was on point — crispy and generous with cheese sauce.
Croissant Hotdog, however, was covered heavily with sauce, overpowering the aroma of the croissant and sausage — ended up tasting mostly like sauce.

Overall, a nice café for brunch or casual coffee, especially if you enjoy relaxing greenhouse-style ambiance and unique...
Read moreI found this cafe by chance while I was exploring the area. Bukku has now become one of my fave cafes to chill and enjoy the food. As advertised, the salted egg yoke croissant is delicious, perhaps the best I've had so far.
I'm also a fan of their rice selection, almost everything tastes good but my fave is the herbal chicken. The rice set comes with soup and green tea, totally worth it. If you're a fan of chocolate, try the Belgian Hot Choc, you can also choose to have either the regular dairy or the dark one based on your preferred intensity. I recommend the Hot Choc with Marshmallows.
While this cafe is not halal certified, they do source their ingredients from halal suppliers and they do not serve pork. To my fellow discerning Muslims, just ask if you're not sure, the friendly staff will be more than happy to entertain your questions. Another thing I love about this cafe is the backyard, which makes you feel like you're dining in the outdoors with the trees and the glass windows, which bring in a lot of sunlight, perfect if you wanna read while having your coffee here. Careful with your steps though, the natural ground is a bit uneven because of the protruding roots.
They've also added a nice touch with the menu, it looks like watercolor-hand drawn pics showing the dishes, so artistic and beautiful. Perhaps the only downside is the parking space. There are not many slots available and some people might park and block your way. Otherwise, I can't stop singing praises...
Read moreLovely ambience and friendly staff. The mushroom soup and salted egg croissant were both delicious and executed well. There were lunch sets on the menu that's affordable and filling.
We got seat at the greenhouse which was lovely and air-conditioned. There's actual living trees here, unlikely some other cafes where their trees are fake or dead. Though that does means you'll have the occasional leaves falling on your head.
Unfortunately, the beverage department fell short. The cafe had a whole section on their hot chocolate, but it was just Belgium chocolate. I'd expected single origin chocolate from the way they'd describe their hot chocolate offering.
Check out Chocolate Concierge @BSC if you actually want a taste of the best chocolate in Malaysia. Nothing beats the taste of a single origin chocolate once you've tasted it. It'll make Belgium chocolate or whatever non-producer country's chocolate taste cheap and flat in comparison.
I went with a matcha latte which was listed on the menu as ceremonial grade, but it tasted like cafe grade to me with the included sugar / syrup. Not that I'm surprised as it was priced at average cafe prices. I have ceremonial grade matcha at home for koicha.
I'd recommend this place for their food, but drinks is definitely not their...
