Emperor Cuisine 御善阁大酒家 — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

I waited around 2hoursfor the food to arrive. When we asked about the delay, the only explanation given was that there were only two chefs in the kitchen. For a restaurant of this size, that is completely unacceptable. If you’re unable to handle the number of customers, you should not be accepting so many orders. And the staff were busy talking and joking around, and didn’t bother to respond when we asked for help.

During the two-hour wait, we followed up at least six times, only to receive vague excuses. As paying customers, our time is valuable too. The food finally came, clearly rushed — the curry was bland, the fishmaw was fishy and undercooked, the eggplant wasn’t cooked through and was still too firm , the vege was crazy bitter — completely ruined the dish and everything tasted like it was thrown together in a hurry just to get it out. It was nowhere near the standard your prices suggest.

You have so many waitstaff, but you refuse to hire enough chefs? If the kitchen cannot keep up, it would be more responsible to pause service instead of letting guests waste their evening waiting for disappointing food.

I would give this place zero stars if I could — one star is honestly...

Recently came back here to have a meal due to a friend's insistence. Found out that the captain and the chef had already changed and food quality improved. Service has also drastically improved.If anyone knows where the previous chef and captain went i strongly discourage you to go there and eat.

This is my older comment(where i gave 1 star): I remember my friend's wedding buffet lunch held here. Firstly, the person in charge is arrogant and full of bullshit. If there is a PA system there and connect to computer, at least let us extend screen, but dont even allow. Most importantly the food here sucks and my experience here isnt that good. Would not held any of my own events here and would not come to this place to eat...

Tbh the food was okay lah but the manager is the problem. He lack professionalism. I asked where the birthday dinner was held because normally when someone have a birthday dinner they would have a special request and I thought he might know. After I saw his confused reaction I just explained the whole thing and telling him if he knew because I don’t. Instead of saying “I’m sorry I don’t know I’ll try to help” he just said “you don’t know? Well then I don’t know.” I was so shock I don’t know what to say but luckily one of my relatives came out and saw us.
