I chose to come here based on the good reviews but it seems to be my unlucky day because despite of all the negative reviews, I decided to bring my friend who came all the way from Johor to visit me. Regrettably, I feel compelled to mention the flaws here again, even though they've been noted by others.
SERVICE: 6/10 (staff informed us that many of the items on the menu were out of stock, while their explanation was appreciated. however, we ordered a simple drink through the QR code system, but it was missing upon arrival. staffs were nowhere to be seen for us to inquire which made the situation inconvenient. when we addressed the issue at the counter, the staff/manager/owner was disinterested and unresponsive to the errors but she did remove the order from the bill which was appreciable yet overall it was a disappointing experience.
FOOD QUALITY: 3/10 (it was bland, lack of freshness and terms of flavour, leaving us unsatisfied with our dining experience)
CLEANLINESS: 0/10 (it had an unpleasant odor, it could be due to the greasy table for not cleaning them properly, smell from the fish pond, or possibly by allowing dogs as well. unfortunately, I witnessed one of it urinating itself indoors, which was obviously disgusting. it was evident that proper sanitation protocols were not being followed, leaving a disturbing impression of unhygienic conditions throughout the restaurant)
AMBIENCE: 10/10 (it is perfect for photoshoots, with its charming decor, soft lighting, and calming surroundings and to be honest, it sets the ideal backdrop for capturing memorable moments. i would spend hours here, simply enjoying a warm drink, if there are no unpleasant smell and no dogs roaming around)
I sincerely hope that the management takes these flaws seriously and works towards improvements in the future. It’s underwhelming when a restaurant has a great interior, beautiful ambiance and decor, but doesn’t deliver on the...
Read moreThis Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant just move from Puchong to Klang and they just started to operate their first day in Klang on (13-10-2021).
A lot of effort has been put on the unique decoration for e.g.: (Lanterns, flowers, plants & trees, waterfalls, statues & fengshui items, lights, parallel sentences, red pockets, tray of five fruits, decorative strings, stickers & etc.) You will feel that you are having a meal & Một trăm Một trăm your beer somewhere in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh / Saigon.
The food they served here is decent, delicious & many variety but still have some room for improvement compare to food in Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh / Saigon. Due to some of the fresh herbs & spices ingredient might not found in Malaysia.
Food & beverage recommended here are:
The ambience here is cozy & spacious. If you wish to have small gathering 8-10 pax; there's 1 small dining pavillion behind the vegetable garden & 4 Karaoke room for you to sing and bottoms up the beer (Một trăm Một trăm). Currently there's shortage of staff (majority Vietnam staff here) to served the guest. Hope the owner will solve the problem for the coming future.
Overall, quite satisfied with the amount of portion served given the...
Read moreThis is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant which looks like it’s completely managed by Vietnamese. So, language became a barrier when we went today. They only seemed to communicate in mandarin or their mother tongue.
Whilst the ambience was pretty warm, pretty lights n deco, it’s not bright enough n rather risky if you are amongst the elderly. It’s definitely not wheelchair friendly. There’s a section which has a step in a rather dimly lit area. So, we have to be alert n reminded when walking in n out of that area.
Food wise, I must say my timing couldn’t have been worse. I went there for the banh mi sandwiches and not one were available. No sandwich ingredients!!!! I could only get their plain banh mi. So yeah, it completely spoilt my mood. Not only that, I thought, I could still order chicken curry and banh mi. Ooops, no chicken curry, pork stew so nope, nothing that I get my way to get my banh mi fix! Vietnamese rice spring rolls were also not available! Huh? So finally we had our dry pork vermicelli and to still have my banh mi fix, we ordered plain banh mi and we had the dry pork vermicelli as a sandwich 🤭😅 taste wise, it’s ok but i think it’s not worth it as the price is not cheap.
So, sorry, Mimi Nguyen, I don’t think I would step in again. It’s just unfortunate my timing was...
