Xiang Bak Kut Teh 饗肉骨茶 — Restaurant in Klang Municipal Council

After buying look around for place to have bkt lunch. A local recommended this shop. Easy to find. Easy to park since it is sat and passed 2pm. Then shop was empty. We choose our table under air cond. Place was spacious. As this is a well known chain with long history wanted to try everything. Order a dried bkt. Not recommended. Tasteless without the cuttlefish fragrant. Although the meat was big portion. The soup version fare better but still not accept Klang soup of darker and less salty. Meat was generous though. We pick small bone, soft bone and knuckles in soup. The worst is the rice. Dry and difficult to swallow. Not recomend and not coming back. Price 120. One or us crave Penang lobak....

My family's go to whenever we crave for BKT, fragrant in herbal flavor however not overpowering but the quality you get served is much like our weather these days - unpredictable HAHA.

On one occasion our soup was pretty tasteless and we were wondering if it wasn't taste tested but 8 / 10 times it's still pretty good. They do sell the house brand's vacuum packed frozen version (ready-to-eat, which comes in your preferred parts too!!) as well as the dried spice combo (which you have to DIY) and are convenient if you're planning to gift some to friends / coworkers.

I came here because the review is quite high, but unfortunately it doesn't worth 4.2 stars, for me I'll give 3.9 overall. The broth is just so so not very herbal, the meat is tender. Portion and the price are reasonable, Rm30+ total. Now i know why some people gives a bad comment said their very rude... Seriously the whole shop workers and boss are rude, like don't want to do business.
