Food is okay, cheap, reasonably priced and most importantly affordable. However the service crew here is extremely rude. One example is that when I went to pay the bill, the waiter told me that I should scan his qr instead of him scanning mine. So I told him nicely to give me a moment, this is when his tone changes and puts his hands on my phone to help me change it. I find this as an extremely rude way to “assist” another, this act that he portrays just goes to show that people here are super impatient. Another example is when my girlfriend and I are both walking out of the restaurant and our car is parked near the street way outside of the restaurant, the distance between my car and us are literally only a few steps away, the guy mopping the floor rudely requested and said “I already mopped this floor”, in which I understand his frustration as in if we stepped on it, it means that he has to mop it again. From his tone, we can tell that his super frustrated and acted rudely towards us, when we have no intention of disturbing the guy at work.
Will never come back here again, there are many other mamaks to hangout other than this one. Would rather have a polite service crew than people who treat others...
Read moreService is really bad especially during breakfast time from 7-9am.Their roti canai which is really a mini roti canai is not that good. You have to eat at least 5 pieces to be really satisfied. They are not very generous when it comes to the size of their roti canai. Even the curry they give for the roti canai is soo little that you need to refill at least 3 times to eat one of their mini roti canai. You have to keep waving at their waiters for extra curry which can be really annoying because some of them will ignore or just waive at you back without attending to your request. Very crowded during breakfast time. I really feel uneasy with many irresponsible patrons and the type of people who only patronize Mamak restaurants and come there in big crowds. Some of them won't even bother to cover their nose and mouth with handkerchief when they sneeze and cough which can be quite dangerous especially during this pandemic. I hardly go to Mamak restaurants but forced to go here because most indian restaurants are closed for one week...
Read moreMy second visit to this restaurant surprised me. From being a 2 star, I can see they have improved on service and the quality of food. Perhaps the last crew was replaced with better people. I can now recommend this restaurant to friends. I had a simple nasi lemak with fried chicken. It was good. Taste wise, the rice could have used a touch more santan while cooking. The sambal was a little too spicy. Perhaps too much cili and not enough sugar. The sunny side egg could have a more runny yolk. Portion wise, it was enough for a full meal. I had a tall glass of teh 0 ais. Price wise, for one person, the bill came to less than RM13. I think that is...
