Best Hot Pot Restaurant in KL 😍🔥🌶️ JENG Ah! 🤤⭐️

With over 30+ years of experience, this amazing hotpot restaurant brings the best flavours which are curated for Malaysian tastebuds 😋 It’s not your typical China style hotpot as the flavours here are slightly different and way more addictive!!! 😍 You can even drink their mala soup!!! 🌶️🔥 The sauces are more towards the tangy side which gives it a flavour kick 🔥 The restaurant itself is super pretty - imagine a “retro x ancient imperial China themed restaurant” 🇨🇳⛩️🍜

石斑芋头锅＋麻辣极品锅 TeowChew Taro Fish Pot + Spicy Mala Pot ⭐️ This one really JENG 😍🔥 10/10 broth! I have never tried this flavour in a hotpot restaurant and this really blew my mind 😍😍😍 The broth was milky and super indulgent - they use grouper fish which was super fresh 🐟 Huge slices of grouper fish with lots of taro and vegetables 🤤 My pot was literally overflowing 😆😆 loaded with lots of ingredients!!! Even their mala soup is not like the China one - it’s more towards Malaysian style so you can drink it 😋😋 Not oily but still packed with spiciness 🌶️ 东坡肉 Braised Pork Belly - This was so so good 🤤 Perfect ratio of meat to fats 🐷 it literally melts in your mouth! Highly recommend everyone to get this 👍🏻 糍粑黑芝麻油条 Black Sesame Glutinous Doughy - This was the best snack ever!!! The mochi was so chewy and it had such a long stretchy pull to it 😍😍❤️ you can see in my video how beautiful the mochi pull is 🤤 瀑布土豆丝 Waterfall Potato String Jiang Xi Vermicelli 菠莱 Spinach 澳洲精选肥羊 Australian Lamb Roll 蓬藕片 Sliced Lotus Root 金针菇 Enoki Mushroom 一壶阿嫲酸梅汤 Your AhMa Plum Soup - Very refreshing drink! ❤️

Food is just like any other normal hotpot (not the HDL / China Chinese type but Malaysian Chinese type), but price is almost close to the HDL bar.

Food portions are small for the steep prices 1 plate of prawns RM26+?? but only 4 pcs 1 plate of pork belly slices (very few pcs) but also RM20++ some deep fried snacks are RM22-25+ for only few pcs 4 pieces of 玲玲卷 for RM9+?

Soup base is nothing special - we ordered the clear soup base (tbh probably worse than that Malaysian Chinese type)

Food choices are mostly frozen / processed fish balls etc

Service was very very slow as well - waited 15-20mins just to have the soup served to us? And we still had to for the frozen hotpot ingredients to come lol

Atmosphere was ok but wouldn’t pay for this price point for the ambience.

Felt like we paid RM400+ for mediocre standard frozen hotpot ingredients (5 pax + 1 elderly who barely ate).

Now let's talk about the food - oh my goodness! I tried their 东坡肉（dongpo pork）that cooked with more than 30 years secret recipe, shrimp paste, yam-based soup and it was like a party in my mouth. The flavors were abundant, and each bite was a new adventure.

And the service? Top-notch! The staff were friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. It's clear they're passionate about what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience.
