Being a food hunter myself, scouting for food is an adventure that I never divulged from no matter how tight my schedules are, to me getting a bite is what working is all about. You earn and you spend and the avenues are spending on delicious meals, not like some nincompoops burning hard earned money away buying cigarettes. There's nothing gain yet they're virtually killing themselves puffing, it's sad sometimes seeing young parents puffing away in front of their kids. Me having some scrumptious appetizing bite over some fine meals is worth living and working hard for. Talking about restaurants and foods that was the reason why i am here, I rated this place 4 stars because they're an in-between kind of eatery catering mainly for the middle income range that can afford some fine dining once in awhile and the food here is fairly delicious. I can say they're comparable to those high end joints in the city centre. As for pricing, I honestly can't tell whether it's expensive or cheap that I'll let you decide for yourself. There were 4 of us, we ordered 5 dishes comprising an assam fish, half a roast chicken, a mushroom with broccoli dish, a pork order (I don't eat pork) and a hot plate seafood taufu plus 4 bottles of large beers to go with it and the total comes to RM320.00. I m not sure whether Chinese tea, titbits and desert of jelly leongfun is included. The portions prepared were rather large compared to some stingy eatery in town. The best thing I can say is parking is damp convenient, plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. Try it out maybe you'll enjoy and have a liking for them. Ask me whether i'll come back or not and my answer will...

Went 3 days ago (Weekday) for dinner, ordered a Red Snapper steam fish, (around 1.2kg). Upon serving, after tear off some flesh of the fish, found out that the inner part of the flesh is not fully cook. The outer part flesh is cooked just nice.

Then restaurant just re steam it, hence the whole fish elasticity gone and the flesh become hard & dry due to the 2nd cook.

The restaurant didn't compensate anything nor even not apologise or mention anything on this even I highlighted to them numerous times.

As a chinese seat down meal restaurant, the ability to nicely steam a fish is the basic skill needed. For this incident can basically rate it's chef's + kitchen ability.

Hence, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED if you looking for chinese premium ingredients dishes like abalone or seafood or premium price fish dishes.

Overall normal dish like stir-fry Vege or egg dishes or meats dishes is slightly high price compare normal chinese restaurant, maybe just because they are fully aircon...

I have been visiting here since I was a teenager. The food here is as delicious as I remember. Every visit did not dissapoint me. The food, the service, the hygiene level, the environment and the price is great. I would say this is one of the best restaurant I visited. This place is great value for your money. Overall, I always have a great experience here. The waitress will always greet you warmly with a smile and make short conversation with you to make you feel welcomed. The serving time is short as well. It is a great place to spend time with your family and friends. Most importantly, the quality of food here is consistent. Their chef is truly amazing.

Since is such a well-managed restaurant, do remember to call in to reserve a table as sometimes it can be crowded. It is best to come early on weekend as it can be difficult to get a parking spot as well.

If you never tried this restaurant before, do give it a try. I highly recommend this place.

A wannabe restaurant in the league of Overseas Ipoh but performing like a modern taichow with very high prices. The much acclaimed bowl of sharks fin (RM40) can best be described as a wedding dinner slop with suspect artificial fins in a starchy broth. The village chicken commendable but drowned not in a good imperial sauce but a pool of oil leading to indigestion. The worst came with bitter gourd rendered in a boiled salted egg mess. No thought by the foreign cook that the bitter gourd needed a deep fry first and a gentle rolling in the salted egg seasoning. AVOID

My family love this place, we go often. Weekdays, it's not as crowded but during the weekends, it's best to make a reservation ahead of you don't want to be disappointed. Cantonese cuisine, reasonable prices, their steamed fish either Nyonya or Assam style are both delicious. Lovely place for a Chinese meal. Great food, prices not exorbitant. My mom loves the assam steamed fish as well as the Nyonya steamed. The vegetarian dish 'Lo Hon Chai ' is nice here with 'tou kan', a type of soya bean that is chewy and goes well with the sauce.
