Henry's Fried Chicken (Taman Desa Petaling): A Taste of Childhood Perfection! My visit to Henry's Fried Chicken food stall at Taman Desa Petaling was an absolutely excellent experience, bringing back a flood of childhood memories! This place is a true gem, serving up a delightful combination of traditional local noodle stir-fries, incredibly crispy and aromatic fried chicken, and comforting tong shui desserts.

For any Asam Laksa fans, you absolutely must try theirs. It hits all the right notes with its sourish and fruity profile – a truly authentic and satisfying bowl.

But the real star, for me, is their traditional fried chicken. This is exactly the style I loved as a kid, and it's so hard to find anything similar at this price point nowadays. Each piece is perfectly seasoned and wonderfully crispy, making every bite a nostalgic delight. While parking can be a little crazy at peak hours, it's a small price to pay for such fantastic food. You can easily find a spot a bit further down the road and enjoy a short, pleasant walk to the stall.

Been eating at this place for years now. It opens around 12:30pm to maybe around 4-5pm.

It serves simple home cooked foods like fried noodles from Mee Hoon to Kueh Teow. Nasi Lemak, sweet dessert soups, like red bean, sago honeydew and not to forget their famous fried chicken wings.

I refer this place as AFC (Aunty's Fried Chicken) with my family because it's that good. Everyone instantly becomes handsome and pretty here as the staffs always call the customers handsome or pretty.

Price is ok, good for lunch and late lunch and tea due to their opening hours. Parking can be a tad hard but do your best to park at the designated lots than double parking as you'll just make traffic slow...

This little unassuming stall sells local favourites that you can pack to go or enjoy them there on the spot. You can choose from a variety of noodles, fried rice and fried stuff too; their fried chickens were juicy and fragrant. Not forgetting if you want something sweet there are tong sui being served here too. The owners were friendly and let us sample their signature fried lime bihun; it had that punch you get from lime with a slight hint of chili.
