Verdict: 6/10 Portions are awesome but we felt that the price is expensive 😳 the view is beautiful & the ambience is magnificent (esp since it was a bit cloudy at the time) 🌥💛 would go again only if I’m eating for free 😂
What we had: 🍴 Ocean Lump Crab Meat Linguine — RM55 7/10 The crab meat’s portion was small while the ikura caviar’s was just nice. I don’t like baby capers but I forgot to ask them to put it aside. Sauce had a balanced sweet-sour taste so it was delicious but nothing really phenomenal. Pasta had a strong fish/seafood taste due to the ikura caviar
🍴 Dukkah Basil Pesto Linguine — RM38 6/10 Pesto was a bit too oily & felt a bit burned (what’s ‘garing’ in English? 😂) but I loved the portobello mushroom (always a favourite). Didn’t tried the pumpkin because I don’t usually prefer them
🍴 lola Big Breakfast — RM42 8/10 You can choose between sourdough or croissant & how you like your eggs done. My friends opted for scrambled & it was runny -sort of like the Japanese style- which I love (but they don’t 🥲). I loved everything, it’s definitely one of the better big breakfast & the portion was generous
🍴 Almond Croissant — RM11 N/A Didn’t tried them because I can’t eat sweet things too early in the morning (that’s old age for u) but my friends loved it
🍴 Mixed Berries Danish — RM11 N/A Same here but the pastry had that satisfying crust sound when cut & my friends said it’s not too sweet
🍶 Karak Tea — RM13 7/10 I only tried my own drink so I won’t be reviewing the others. First time trying it, I love it! Basically a milder version of masala chai? 🤔 but awesome nevertheless
🍶 Mint Tea — RM13 N/A It was very fragrant I can smell it from across the table
🍶 Chamomile Tea — RM13 N/A Served in a pot, you may refill hot water
🍶 Chocolate (Iced) — RM13 N/A
🍶 Water — From home 10/10 Good ‘ol water never disappoints

Read moreBrunch food : The Ottoman Eggs dish was nice and added an interesting variety to the menu. The pairing of flavours was good but would recommend it as a sharing starter option. Their sourdough bread stood out as it was well toasted with the perfect fluffiness (not too chewy like some sourdough bread). Their Big Breakfast had a good variety on the platter however most of it was a tad bit salty including the scrambled eggs. Pastries were not too bad as well.
Drinks : The Watermelon Lychee was good, can’t really go wrong, and Coconut cooler was good. However be sure to specify if you would like the Coconut cooler option (coconut shake w coconut ice cream) or just plain fresh coconut as order was initially mistaken for just fresh coconut.
Ambiance : Not too bad with option to sit indoors or out, but surprisingly the layout makes it seem like the space was pretty narrow or a little tight. Quiet surrounding which is a plus.
Parking and location: The area also has ample parking space but getting there can be a tad bit confusing due to the signage on the road which should just point straight to the road leading up to the restaurant with a single arrow rather than a roundabout on top and the restaurant name was not very obvious on the sign to begin with.
Side note, menu could do with some food pictures which would be more attractive and make it easier to get an idea of the dishes to order.
The highlight however was the service provided by Fauzan, the restaurant manager, who gave a very good and memorable customer experience when we were buying some of the pastries to go. Would revisit due to the...
Read moreWe saw this place and thought it looked nice, so we decided to have brunch there together today. We were initially seated indoors, but since the outdoor view was nice, we decided to switch to an outdoor table. The waitress cleaned our table and served us the menu to order. Then suddenly, the manager came and apologized, saying that someone had reserved the outdoor table. Initially, the other table should have been reserved for the customers, but since we hadn't ordered yet, we were asked to move indoors. There was no reserve sign on the table, it's not fair to the customers when the management has issue with their reservation system. So, we have to move inside to avoid our mood spoiled.
The prices were towards the higher range. We ordered watermelon lychee, latte, and cappuccino. The watermelon lychee was quite expensive at RM20 per small glass, and they told me it was sour, but it was actually quite sweet. We also ordered Lola Big Breakfast, which was priced at RM42. The portion was alright, and the taste was good too. Too bad is the service made the whole experience really awful.
We dined in there for an hour, and suddenly the waiter came with the bill and credit card machine. He told us that many customers were waiting outside and asked us to pay. We told him that the next table had been seated for a longer time than us, but he made us leave first is it because they were foreigners? He gave a lot of excuses, and we didn't want to argue further. It was really awful for such a beautiful environment. We expected better customer service since it's by Serai Group. Great...
