The only thing extraordinary is the ambience. The seating is well spaced out giving privacy to people. One interesting thing which I noticed was the acoustics of the table/place. You don’t need to speak loudly to be heard across the table. Coming to food - we ordered Chicken Reshmi Kebabs, Lucknowi Biryani and some other veg dishes along with chat and desert platters.
Reshmi Kebab were dry and not melt in your mouth with flavours exploding and charred crusts outside (which is essential). Seemed like the chicken was boiled and then charred. The key to reshmi kebabs is long term marination in curd and spices. 2/5. Lamb biryani - the dough covered plate is just for decoration as the biryani is not prepared that way in the kitchen. The Yakhni is cooked separately and the rice with all the spices etc cooked separately and then mixed together on a plate and covered with an uncooked chapati dough for heating. It’s not at all Lucknow biryani. (I am from Lucknow and can make 100 times better biryani at home). 1/5.
Chat platter - dahi vada- vadas lacked flavour and were completely tasteless. Samosas were most probably prepared in the morning and assembled on the platter.
Desert platter- kulfi is nice but don’t try to dig for the faluda. It’s the worst part of the dish. I preserved it to taste it at the end (worst mistake ever). Faluda is just some rice which appears raw. Come to Lucknow along with me and I will show you what’s real faluda. Agreed that not everyone can travel to a place to taste the flavours of a city. But a restaurant talking so much about the authenticity of Awadh, should make an effort to get the flavours right - at least 50%.
Service is good...

Read moreIt was my birthday and my husband wanted to surprise me. He took me to your restaurant for dinner on Oct 8th, 2020. Despite having an impressive 4.5 Star rating, sadly your restaurant could not live up to it by a long shot!!
The food was quite salty and lacked flavor. After waiting for the food, ... when it did arrive it was such a letdown and so very disappointing. I was so embarrassed to even share anything with all my friends.
My birthday ... which was so memorable until then, came crashing down to a miserable end. Thanks to Quershi’s!!
I can now see why the place was practically empty and strongly feel that your restaurant does not deserve that rating anymore!! Maybe a 0 star rating will help the management to come down from cloud 9 and take stock!! The true reality of where the restaurant should be
I will never ever step foot into your restaurant again and will definitely not recommend it to my big group of family, friends, and relatives. In fact, I may just help you’ll by making my comments go viral!!
The above is a sincere sharing of our sad experience on...
