Was with my wife who is a Selangorean but really love Kelantan food.
Being a Kelantanese, I would rate the "Ikan Singgang" (kind of Fish Soup) including "budu" (anchovy sauce) plus the "ulam" (salad) 5 star. The only difference that I noticed in the ingredients for Ikan Singgang is the use of "Kacang Botol" (wing beans) in the "Ikan Singgang"" which is quite a new ingredient to me. But it still taste delicious.
With a little mix of Thai - like "Sayur Kailan Ikan Masin" (Salty Fish Kailan) and "Sotong Goreng" (Fried Cuttlefish) and "Kopi Jantan" (Men's Coffee - if you get what I mean). With "ikan kembung" (kind of Mackerel) as Ikan Singgang, which I peeled and mix them all with the Budu, I will nostagically remember the good memories with my parents and siblngs and will forget the world for a while. As a Kelantanese would say :
Ambo banggo jadi rakyat Kelate

Good job. (The surroudings are also selling Ikan...
