Our Bestie’s Wedding @ Ming Hao Restaurant . It was such a lovely evening celebrating our bestie’s wedding at Ming Hao — and of course, we paid close attention to the food. Here’s what we had: . 缘来这世龙凤盘 — Loving Happiness Five Combination Platter A beautiful start to the meal — nicely plated and delicious. . 人参鲍鱼炖鸡汤 — Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Ginseng & Abalone The chicken was a little tough, which shows it had been thoroughly boiled for flavour. Not much ginseng taste, but everyone got their own little abalone — a nice touch. . 港蒸东星班 — Soy Sauce Steamed Red Grouper Fresh, juicy, and tender. A satisfying classic done right. . 黑毛猪排骨 — Iberico Pork Ribs Honestly, couldn’t really tell the difference from regular pork ribs. A bit salty for my liking. . 海参虾滑金瓜西兰花 — Sea Cucumber & Prawn Paste with Pumpkin & Broccoli Loved the sea cucumber, pumpkin, and broccoli — but the shrimp paste wasn’t quite my cup of tea. . 苏打饼鲜虾 — Crispy Soda Cracker Prawns Texture was a little mushy, not as fresh as we’d hoped. . 卤肉芋头饭 — Braised Pork Belly with Yam Rice A surprise favourite! Full of flavour and perfectly seasoned. Some of us even packed the leftovers home. . 冰糖燕窝 — Sweet Honey Bird’s Nest Adorable little dessert — though by this point we were all too full, so most of it went home with us too. . One of the best restaurants in the city. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh, you can try the steam fish, salad prawn, soft shells crab as appetiser, herbal chicken as well as the soft bread with pork.

Service is top notch as staff is friendly, polite and fast.

The ambiance is awesome, absolutely impeccably clean and spacious , with superb lighting plus a cool atmosphere.

Food was served in less than 10 minutes although it was full house. Eventhough all tables were occupied, it was not noisy as we were able to listen to our own private conversation.

In addition, parking was more than ample all around the the building. We got out of our car and made just a few steps to the door.

I didn’t give any rating on the food because I did not dine here. My family and I are supposed to meet my friends for lunch gathering and I got the venue wrong. We were dropped off by my relatives so we don’t have a car to get to where we want to go. The lady behind the counter (we assumed she’s the owner) was very kind to offer to get us a grab to our destination. She even offered us to wait inside the restaurant with air-conditioning instead of standing outside under the hot sun. Even though knowing we are heading to a different restaurant, she still provided us with such a warm hospitality which we are grateful for. My family and I are very thankful for your kindness.
