Today is Sithirai Puthandu and the beginning of the Tamil New Year. We visited the temple to offer our prayers. According to Google, the temple closes at 8:30 PM, and we understand that the management is following this schedule.

However, I kindly request the management to consider extending the closing time on special occasions like today — perhaps until 9:00 PM. Many people, including working individuals and students, may not be able to arrive on time due to their busy schedules.

I am sharing this feedback because while I was still praying, the temple doors were closed. It was disheartening, not just for me but for many others who had come with devotion and peace in their hearts. A temple is a place of solace, and moments like these can be quite upsetting for devotees.

I sincerely hope the management will consider this and make necessary changes in the future.

Good temple but with awful priests who blow off lighted camphor like birthday candles. Never do ubayams there. If you offer silk to the gods the priests put around their shoulders walk around everywhere and then do the offerings. The priests keep on coughing and sneezing at the shrines when performing prayers. The temple chairman sits there keeping quiet. Look, it seems vibrant as people do not go there on non- festive days and so it is peaceful. Other than that do not waste your money here. I cannot believe the story as they claimed they moved a siddhar samadhi a few feet away from the original one. Makes me wonder if there is any evidence...

Temple timing is not accurate. I came here at 7am. Google shows opening hours at 6am. Temple opened at 7.30am and prayers only started at 8am. Can't help but think the ppl here are money-minded. I paid RM 25 for 2 packets of milk and what seemed to be, a half-opened pack of incense sticks. On top of that, priest requested for kaanikai of RM10 for abhishegam in my name. For the record, even temples in Singapore - where I am from, don't charge that much. RM 3 for an archani. To the management - have some integrity. Money should be earned rightfully;...
