Old Town Chicken Rice — Restaurant in Malacca

I came in alone ordered big chicken rice and 2 eggs, the daughter/young worker heard it wrongly, they served 2 plates of chicken rice (how can I alone finish 2 chicken rice and both daughter (Young worker and female boss) blame it on me on their misorder. Give me small portion and charge me 2 portion. Very unprofessional and treat simply charge based on their mood. Will never come back here again, they said how you do things reflects on how you do everything. Somehow their mistake can be charged on customer bill. Nonsense unethical and ridiculous, DO NOT VISIT THIS chicken rice. As this is no more WILSON chicken rice for a reason, bad service, bad attitude. Boycot, I’m not a hater or feel bad on paying 2X,this is my first and only bad review in my life time. I will never forget the disgusting face of their boss smiling as I paid 2X , small portion RM16....

This is a simple restaurant located in the Ayer Leleh area of Melaka.

The restaurant serves only Chicken Rice and drinks. Only Steamed Chicken and Fried Chicken are available. Fried Chicken Offals are also available. The Fried Intestines are popular among the local customers.. Braised Eggs also available.

Revisited this chicken rice shop after at least 5 years and I’m so glad the taste hasn’t changed! 😋

My order wouldn’t be complete without their super duper crispy fried chicken intestine — don’t you say ew until you’ve tried it because it is simply addictive.

The rice itself is fragrant and not overly oily. I ordered chicken breast and it was soft and moist. They always drizzle their special soy sauce mixture on the chicken, making it really moreish.

Service is prompt. Definitely a good place to have lunch when you’re in the area. You might want to avoid coming here when the secondary schools nearby dismiss. Otherwise parking and traffic shouldn’t...
