A Hidden Gem That Surpasses Expectations – CityCafe
I recently discovered CityCafe, and I must say – what an unexpected delight! From the moment I stepped in, the cosy ambience and welcoming vibe instantly made me feel at home.
But the real magic began when I tasted their liquor-infused cakes – each bite brought back memories of the renowned Cake Tella. I’m not sure where they get their inspiration, but the quality and richness are absolutely superb. A must-try for any dessert lover!
And the coffee? Wow. I had one that had subtle whisky-like notes – bold, aromatic, and complex – but without any actual alcohol. It’s the kind of drink that surprises your senses in the best way possible.
Their fusion menu is equally impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to every craving. Whether you’re here for a casual brunch, a sweet treat, or a flavorful meal, you’ll find something that hits the spot.

Everything was good, especially the opening salad with fish skin. The pasta was average, and rather bland. The pork steak was rather chewy and required a bit more flavour.
The cakes were awesome, especially the alcoholic one. You can feel the kick once the cake hits your tongue! On an occasion like Mother's Day - cakes like these make the celebration more memorable.
The atmosphere is as mentioned, family-oriented. The live music provided by the two-member was like a gust of fresh air to up the dining experience. Keep up the good work, young people!
All in all, a great place to come to enjoy good food. Hope the owners will take my opinions...
