Deen's Fish Head Curry — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Came here for late lunch in the previous weekend. It’s a subgenre of mamak / nasi kandar that highlights on the fish head curry as its flagship dish, which I used to have growing up south. Not many people when we came, can opt to order at counter / line or sit at the table. Got small, medium & large fish sizes. Took medium for us, family of 3 which comes with acar bawang & rice. Added peria goreng & chicken on top of it. Fish head curry was really nice, gravy was thick, no fishy smell & bite in was soft & melts into mouth fast. Peria was a bit bitter but crunchy. Might need to improve the fried chicken as it’s not newly cooked & tasted quite average which brought down the experience. Overall service is okay & staff is good to talk to for assistance. Prices are reasonable & upfront declared so you know what you’re getting...

It is a big warung and you should come here to enjoy fast and good service, good food and spacious area to accommodate the large crowd. The owner is around at the chasier counter to oversee the operations. Plenty of breakfast choices: tose, roti canai, nasi lemak etc. Packed desserts (Malay kuih) and nasi lemak daun pisang are placed on the tables. Reasonably priced food items here. Fish head curry is available during lunch and the price starts from RM70+ for medium sized fish head. Recommended for tourists who need a good place to...

Reached here around 2.30 pm...was informed the roti canai, tosay finished for the day...tried fried mee instead...The taste was great and suitable to my liking and taste...tried the sotong goreng and udang goreng too...the taste is satisfying couple with the friendly owner and staff that serving me and wife...the price is reasonable and affordable for generak Malaysians...will definitely come again for roti canai, plus tosay...and off coz, will recommend friends to patron the place when ever they are in...
