Restaurant Aden — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Last night, I placed a Grab order, but after an hour, the restaurant informed me that there were no drivers available due to Raya. I canceled the order, but then felt bad about the wasted food, so I decided to pick it up myself. However, when I arrived, the restaurant was closed, it was ~10:30PM. I called the number, and someone told me to wait in the car as he would deliver the order to me. Once arrived, I explained I had canceled the Grab order and needed to pay, he seemed unsure how to proceed. Eventually, I suggested he share a QR code or acc number via WhatsApp for payment, because don't have cash. On my way back to the hotel, the phone was silent, the individual bombarded me with numerous audio messages and calls, which I found very inappropriate. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

BEWARE: FOOD PORTION IS HUGE

This restaurant is great. The cleanliness is good. Waiters are quite friendly. The best part is the food. I just came here once, so I can't comment on all the foods, but Mandi lamb is great. Chicken Mandi also nice. Chicken chop also not bad, but there is a little taste of pepper, so if you want to order for a child who can't stand even slight hot of pepper, please be inform. Their spaghetti is also not bad. Banana split is nice...kids are happy. And the portion is huge.

Pro: Food taste (at least what I ordered) The foods portion are huge. Price is reasonable. Restaurant is clean. Serving time is acceptable. Not much of a wait.

Cons: They don't accept credit/debit card.

VERDICT: IT'S WORTH MY MONEY SPENT.

We’ve tried their shawarma, 5-6 years ago. We were truly disappointed with the food quality and service at the restaurant. Upon seeing good reviews here, we thought of giving it a benefit of a doubt - and try it again. Who knows? Maybe they have improved their food quality, at least. So we ordered via Food Panda. The WORST tasting food, ever. The lamb shawarma was truly DISAPPOINTING. The bread was tough, wrapped around a piece of lamb kebab, some fries, slices of onion with some garlic sauce. The hummus? I don’t think I have ever tasted a hummus as horrible as Aden’s. It was tasteless and slightly bitter. Even a supermarket aisle hummus, would taste way better. Almost a hundred ringgit spent!
