To be honest, I don't think this place is all that great to shout about. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. It's just sloghtly above average. Also, I have to be honest to say this is my first time eating here and my experience is limited to only 4 dishes.
My dishes (and costs):
Seafood Fried Rice Size: Small Price: RM20 My say: Bear in mind I ordered without any vegetables and peas and sorts. The portion is reasonable for 2 adults. Maybe enough for 2.5 pac of smaller eaters. They were quite generous with the squid and some prawns. However, overall, I found it the taste to be quite bland and tasteless. There was excessive use of cooking oil used to fry the rice for my liking.
Sweet and Sour Chicken Size: Small Price: RM30 My say: The taste is quite nice at the beginning and chicken were battered just nicely with plenty of meat within. There's a slight bitter after taste though, leaving me to conclude that the vinegar they used to cook isn't good quality. Again, though it's not bad, there isn't a wow factor to it. The portion is the only plus point.
Deep Fried Squid with Salted Egg Yolk Size: Small Price: RM30 My say: Again, the portion is about the only best value for this dish. I really liked the taste and the taste was nearly perfect. The salted egg yolk wasn't overwhelming or too salty. What put me off was that they didn't drain the cooking oil properly, leaving the dish soaked and soggy with cooking oil.
Chilli Crab Size: 2 pcs (difficult to estimate weight and the bill did not indicate it) Price: RM98 My say: This I really felt wasn't all worth it. No surprise, again, it's not bad, just "ok". Due to the small size of the crabs, it made eating them and digging out the meat a huge challenge. Chilli style probably isn't their strong point. Other cooking style might be better.
Other Costs A. Ice water: RM0.50 per glass B. Chinese tea ice: RM1 per glass C. Wet towel: RM0.60 per pc D. Peanuts: RM3 per serving
TOTAL BILL = RM206.90 (excluding svc tax)
Total pax: 2 adults; 2 children
Summary: I feel I'm probably just paying for an air-conditioned environment with plenty of parking outside. I came in the afternoon, so I can't say how experienced the dinner shift is, but the lunch shift comprises of mainly quite young waits. So, they may not be very experienced, but the crowd is usually less at lunch, so I'm ok.
The most important aspect, which is the food, seems a little left out. Like I said, the food isn't bad. It just doesn't live up to the hype of some food blog reviewing them as top 5 or even 10 places to eat in Port Dickson. My final opine, the food taste as though they were cooked by chefs who have lost their passion for food.
But hey, please don't take me too seriously. I haven't tried all their other dishes. I just don't feel my 1st impression warrants me to visit this place...

I dunno what the fuss about the hype for this restaurant but everything about this place is either bad or below average.
The ambience is nice but that’s about it, nothing special about it.
The service here is okay but not exceptional well, i want to order a simple prawn menu but the waitress keep on insisting me to order another menu, i understand if she recommended it but she was really being pushy about it. We waited for our food for a considerable amount of time but not too long.
Now let’s talk about the food, we ordered 1 siakap tiga rasa, sayur kailan, egg toufu and udang celup tepung, 2 cups of rice(small cups🙄🍚)
The taste is bland, i dunno what the other reviewers are saying, but i have taste better siakap 3 rasa than this stale tasting reason of a siakap 3 rasa. The only flavour i could taste is disappointment. Im focusing for the siakap because i thought the fish dishes is good here since most of the review i read from google said so. Coming here with a high expectation because of the review is really a terrible mistake from me.
The other dishes beside the siakap is average at best, nothing worth mentioning, is the same as any other outlet or restaurant.
And what is the final nail to the coffin? The exorbitant price. The bills for two person with said menu i mention before is rm167! The price itself is a warcrime of seafood cuisine, an insult to the dead fish and sea creatures that go onto our plate just to sate our fill. Even the prawn i ordered came with 6 tiny prawns and it cost us for rm40! It just prawn fried in batter and served it on top of a salad, a salad! Of course its looks like a plain prawn with batter from any restaurant, i did not expect it to be that expensive for some sea critters.
Plus, the menu not even stated how much is the price for some of the seafood, just “berdasarkan harga pasaran” 🙄, the quality and quantity we got compared to the price we need to pay is unreasonable and abysmal.
Overall, there’s better kedai out there if you want to itch that seafood craving, not this place, i won’t even recommend it to anyone at all. Better go to stabak next door and order some refreshing tea or something than wasting...
Read moreWe are frequent visitors to PD (multiple visits a year, cos our kids love the sea and PD is the closest from our home). However this is my (and daughter’s) first visit to this restaurant. And we were pleasantly surprised! For the two us, I had ordered (all in S portion): fried kuey teow, buttered squid and broccolis in oyster sauce. The kuey teow is unlike the charred penang style kuey teow, but its mixture of simple ingredients of sweet and salty soy sauces, sprouts, shredded red chillies and succulent chicken fillets make for a delicious dish which is now becoming my daughter’s favourite! She also loves the buttered squid: the squids are midly battered and crisply fried and then poured or cooked over a creamy buttery (and slightly sweet) sauce with curry leaves and a gentle dose of cili padi. I enjoy it, but find it a bit sweet. And the broccoli is a simple dish but well cooked, whilst still maintaining the bright green and texture of the broccolis. Indeed, one may find fancier/better chinese seafood restaurants in bigger cities, but for PD, this is more than a great place for those seeking the same cuisine. It is Halal certified too, with a pleasant sea breeze and view of...
