I write this review with a heavy heart. This is my first review that deserved a 1 star. I do not have any bad intentions but just hope the restaurant takes this review as an opportunity to improve.

And if you’re wondering why this place has good reviews, I have an explanation for that as well below.

What we ordered - Duck Confit Egg Benedict Chicken Teriyaki Burger Moroccan Baked Rice Grilled BBQ Chicken

Visit Summary -

Let’s start with the good things. It has an amazing location, overlooking the sea. It excels as a place to have coffee and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

But from the food perspective, it should have been better.

Let’s take the Duck Confit for example. Description says it comes with roasted garlic. Duck was good, nothing to shout about. But the roasted garlic? It was so hard it almost felt uncooked. Expectation is to be able to mash the roasted garlic and have it with the duck.

Egg Benedict? Hard boiled egg and burger bread. Expectation is watery yolk with an English muffin.

Chicken Teriyaki Burger? Sauce was too sweet that it overpowered the chicken.

I’m not a fussy person. Just giving an honest review.

The main reason why they have good reviews is because they offer a free drink it you drop them a review. (See picture)

The place was lovely, found the outdoor seating looking to the beach perfect, a it was a hot day so we sat inside, upstairs that looked out to the ocean...lovely space, and felt comfortable.

However, there is only Soo little the staff could do when multiple items on the menu were not available. my sister ordered 3 drinks from different drink options only to find none of those advertised refreshing drinks were available. in fact most of the cold drink options were unavailable. She opt for water. The coffees we ordered were good(flat white, cappuccino and Americano) Some food items were also unavailable, so giving the place the benefit of a doubt, we tried ordering something non breakfast. The order was double cheese chicken burger(bland), a Tabasco chicken wing(plain but was spicy so everyone tried), they had another chicken wing dish, so I ordered that(lots of sauce, no flavour...my dad ordered an eggs Benedict breakfast(hardboiled eggs cut in half and the hollandaise sauce was instant powder cheese. That's false advertising and definitely not eggs Benedict), the only dish that everyone actually found yummy and actually finished was the teriyaki chicken burger, well seasoned and super delicious...the coleslaw sides were sweet, like sugar was added...we practically left all our meals unfinished and went to a different restaurant for proper meals.

It was an unsatisfactory visit. There's only so little a good staff can do to accommodate a restaurant with bad planning and bad food.

I would never recommend that place to eat but, go there to enjoy the coffee...I kept looking out at Zeus and wishing we had just gone there instead....

I had a very bad experience. It took them so long to come and take our order. I think they have 5 workers. After the staff took our order, we waited. After 20 mins, the drinks came. The food that we have ordered never came though. We waited for 40 mins, when one of the waitress brought us our food. But, another waitress interrupted and took away the very same food saying that this food belongs to another customer. Ok. All the customers who came in way more later than us, kept getting their food and drinks they have ordered. Yet, we are still here waiting for ours. 1 hour has passed and there's still no food. When we were about to pay our bill, the waitress is coming in with the first food order which was done one hour earlier. Well, I have no idea what to say, but I can really highlight saying that it was purely open discrimination. I have never done a negative review before, but looking at how we were treated today, I am writing one, while being seated at the restaurant. Thank you for your so called great service. You guys need to buckle up and start working on your service. I am rating one star for the service which you don't deserve at all. For food, I never got to tasting it. Atmosphere is good because it is next to the sea. But this restaurant got no hope. Thank you for the disastrous experience.
