I was here for the member's happy hour. After quite sometimes, i expected sushi king to have upgraded the service and product. Unfortunately, no. For example, the golden ball taste was stale. Looks like just take out from the fridge and u serve it on the plate. The water dispenser at the table is mounted too low, making it so difficult to refill our drinks. However, what makes me so upset is the customer service. During payment the staff at the counter is unaware of the happy hour and did not subtract the discount from the total bill. The manager was called upon to solve the problem, but he was so into the game in his handphone while instructing his staff on what needed to be done for the refund. He doesn't even bother me looking at his attitude. Serving customer but his hand and eyes focused on the handphone. My problem is solved. But i am quite disappointed with the customer service. The staff did not even apologize for the mistake. Sushi management should look into this, please educate your staff in order...
Read moreLazy staff. They weren't "understaffed". It was the assistant manager just lazing around doing nothing. Nobody around to seat us when we came in. We asked for a baby chair, she said there were none, even though there was one right there. Thought it might have been a trainee, but turns out it was the asst manager.
The conveyor belt was mostly empty. A third of the menu are out of stock.
No physical menu. You have to order through a dodgy app. Hard to find things on the app. There were "promotions" and stuff on the app and it led to a blank screen. We canceled an item on the app. They brought it anyway saying it was in the system and can't be changed. The item was canceled from the receipt, so we got it for free. The app crashed, no way to order without it. Asked for help and the asst manager just put it away, then finally unlocked the device and reopened it after we glared at her.
The sushi was sloppy, but food all tasted good. They gave excessive portions of fish, didn't fit on the rice, but no...

Sambil tunggu sambil habiskan Edamame yang penuh 1 plate tu sorg2, dah habis pun tak sampai lagi, okay takpe. Sekali nampak meja lain dah dapat Ebi Fry, saya punya tak dapat, ohh takpelah maybe customer tu mmg dh order lama sebelum i kot, k takpe tunggu..
Tunggu punya tunggu dah masuk cup ke 2 ice green tea saya minum masih tak muncul order saya, sekali tengok eh customer meja lain yg baru sampai dapat Ebi Fry juga, okay ni pelik 😅 Check dekat tab sekali eh.. prepared?? Okay takpe kita panggil staff, masalahnya most of the staff semua duduk kitchen, yang keluar hanyalah yg nk serve plates yg dipesan. Saya angkat tangan 3-4 kali, saya panggil tetap tak toleh walaupun staff tu serve sebelah meja saya 😂 Okay takpelah husnuzon mmg tak perasan, saya panggil guna tab 2 kali, masih tak datang.. after 5-10mins mujur sorg staff perempuan yg baru clock in pukul 6pm perasan, saya pun informed dia saya tak dapat 3 plates ni tapi kat sini tulis prepared, macam mana ya? Dia pun kata kejap and berlalu pergi, saya perasan dia masuk kitchen so okay la maybe kejap lagi sampai. 15 minit saya tunggu, MASIH TAK DAPAT TAPI MEJA LAIN YANG BARU DATANG DAPAT 😂 Saya terus tekan bill, saya fikir takde rezeki saya kot nak makan lebih2, nak tunggu bill pun saya tunggu la jugak dalam 3-5 mins baru staff yang sama datang clearkan bill, itupun lepas eye contact dgn saya bukan sbb alert dengan system mereka.
Tengah dia prepare bills saya dia tanya “3 plates je?” saya pun “haah, ni je, yg tak dapat tu takpelah saya cancel”, dia pun terus kata “entah la apa masalah dorg tu, saya tak tahu 😄”. Saya terdiam, hilang terus kesabaran saya 😂 Sepatah permohonan maaf pun tak keluar dari mulut dia yang alert about issue saya. Pergi cashier pun cashier tanya 3 plates je? saya rasa mesti dia rasa pelik takkan bonanza makan 3 je tapi itulah, rezeki saya 3 sahaja bukan 6 bukan 9 😂
Since issue ni issue yang agak critical sebab ia melibatkan internal control systems, ethical requirements staff & quality of your service, saya dah emailkan pada pihak atasan untuk tindakan lanjut. In conclusion, saya banned terus outlet ni sebab poor service....
