I'm not a fan of chicken rice but has patroned here almost fortnightly as family member and friends like their dishes. Personally give full rating for the service tendered by owner & lady siblings. So far haven't encounter any bad experience despite their busy business especially during peak lunch time.
Food consider one of the best in Kuantan for steamed chicken, roasted pork and char siew. Generous portion compare to cafe that served the similar menus. In case rice is not your 1st option for brunch, they do served noodle soup, breads and coffee which is not too bad.
Skillful steamed chicken as it was just nice, not overcooked and not undercooked especially on thigh part. The skin managed to hold gelatine and not oily. Cons, ginger paste were not fragrance and tasted too much msg😅
Roasted pork given genuine belly part, was crunchy on top and juicy layers thereafter. Charsiew were well caramelised and tender. Not too sweet too. If one don't fancy tenderly soft meat, then you might need to special request for lean meat and chicken...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant a few times. The first time I ordered wonton noodles, I had to wait a long time. When I asked about it, they said it was being cooked and brought it over later.
But this time, I really couldn’t tolerate it anymore. Someone came to ask what I wanted to eat, and I told her. After waiting for 20 minutes and still not getting my food, I asked the staff, and they just told me to wait a bit — so it still hadn’t been cooked yet? Fine, I let that go, but they even brought out the wrong order 🫠. I ordered with the same staff member, and she still got it wrong — seriously speechless 🙄. In the end, just waiting for the food took 40 minutes. And it wasn’t even busy at the time; it was already 2:30 PM, and I could see them starting to prepare staff meals. Eating here is...
Read moreGood stuff. Tried the curry noodles, wanton noodles & steamed kaya butter toast. Curry noodles was really good however it came just warm. It the broth was hotter it would be just perfect, maybe then it would be the best in Kuantan. However it tasted good with ample condiments. Wanton noodles were ok. Charsiew was really good & so was the fried wanton. The steamed bread was a huge let down & surprisingly it took the longest time to get it served. The noodles came out way faster than the toast.
Will definitely return to...
