De’ghilir Floating Restaurant-Taman Negara — Restaurant in Pahang

We had 2 nights and found this nice place by coincidence as the last one in a row of floating restaurants on the first evening. We extremely enjoyed everything and were highly attracted by the chance to eat freshly caught fish from the river - be aware that you have to reserve one day ahead. But it’s more than worth it - we had a wonderful catfish cooked in spicy Malaysian style and vegetables - simply fantastic!!!

The hosting family is extremely friendly and nice, and the view on the river and surrounding nature is unique.

We went for their special dish; Char kway teol. It was amazing! The noodles were very fresh and the sauce was so tasty. For drinks we had a pineapple juice and a dragonfruit shake. Both tasted really fresh and delicious.

We were disappointed by our visit here. We came, because of the good reviews but with our visit we can not agree on these. We didnt feel welcomed. The owner, who served us, barely looked at us and didnt seem to be motivated. The food of my partner was okay, however mine was quite unseasoned (fried rice with vegetables).
