Best chicken rice in Jerantut

I have been eating this famous chicken rice in Jerantut ever since I started to have business deal in this town which is the gateway to Taman Negara. Of course most of the time I'd be eating proper Chinese dai chow instead, but I have to say that the chicken rice is good, better than most of the chicken rice I'd tasted before.

I'm not saying that they are the best - taste is subjective, remember? And they are located in quite an obscure location that you will not be able to find it unless you're local or someone brings you there.

◾Roasted chicken rice - they do have poached chicken but it's their roasted chicken that shines! Glistening & crispy skin with moist & tender meat, I could not resist digging more. Often I'd order quarter portion just to eat alone.. as I skipped rice. Nothing wrong with their rice.. it's quite aromatic actually but I tend to avoid carbs. ◾Braised eggs - another protein source that I'd order. They do have braised beancurd as well. ◾Complimentary soup to warm the tummy before and after the meal.

Even the locals - my friends and customers - agree that this is the best chicken rice place in their own hometown, and remains their go-to place when they missed this...

They only serve chicken rice, you may choose roasted or poached. This should be a popular place for the locals, as I can see that they keep on roasting chickens non-stop. I didn't dine in, instead take away and surprise with the portion.
