Decent food with lovely view, but I won’t come back again on a weekend or public holiday as I had to wait more than 2 hours for my food.
Good: stir fried cheong fun, sichuan cucumber, kaya butter toast, mixed berries smoothie, dragon fruit smoothie
Average: Shanghai noodle, wantan, fried mantao, grilled chicken salad, the ribena drinks
I understand that they’re short-staffed and I don’t mind waiting for my food, but they were very disorganised. For example, I ordered 3 sets of half boiled eggs but they only served 2 and said they’ve served all, I had to remind them about it again and again. Same goes for the Shanghai noodles, I ordered 3 bowls but they only served 2 and then they crossed off that item on their list. Had to go to the counter to remind them about it. After most of the food was out, my dragon fruit smoothie still wasn’t done but the other tables that arrived later all got their smoothies already. Had to go to the counter to remind them 3 times regarding the dragonfruit smoothie. Tldr had to follow up on almost every item I ordered at least 2-3 times before I managed to get it.
Would love to come back on a weekday and chill...
Read moreI visited Leng's Cafe with 6 friends for breakfast after reading some positive reviews and seeing nice photos online. The cafe is located beside a condo, so we thought it would be a convenient spot to try. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the expectations.
The view from the cafe is just average, nothing special to enjoy while dining. As for the food, we were quite disappointed. We ordered a variety of dishes—mee, fish and chips, salads, a breakfast set, and drinks like americano, latte, and teh. Sadly, none of the dishes stood out in terms of taste.
The coffee, in particular, was a letdown. Both the americano and latte were overpriced, and the taste didn’t match the high cost. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to what we expected based on the reviews. If you’re looking for something special, this place...
Read moreLovely open air concept cafe surrounded by luscious greenery. I was communicating with Ms. Bee Ching, to pre-order and customize vegetarian menu for my group of friends prior to our visit. She was very friendly and helpful to deal with. However, please be patient with the speed of the food being served especially when there are big group of crowd visiting over the weekends.
We enjoyed the food a lot and the environment after our retreat at Song Yan. Both egg mayo croissant and egg fried rice has to be my personal favourite so far. Even better than the ones I had at the cafe in the city! We also love how conveniently it is located not too far from Song Yan itself! There are plenty of car park available at the open space too. Do give Leng’s Cafe a try if you happen to visit...
