Another curry mee crossed off the list
The next (late) morning, I went out to meet someone with empty stomach and when I finished.. my tummy was growling. There was this curry mee place in Bukit Sekilau that I remember someone recommended so I drove all the way there.
A typical hawker style restaurant, I was being informed that the chicken curry was finished as I walked in to order my breakfast. Oh well, since I was already there might as well tried the curry to see if it was good.
▪️Curry Mee - well can’t exactly say curry mee because my bowl of noodle came with ingredients while omitted the noodle as I didn’t want to stuff myself with carbs that day. It came with stuffed bean curd, stuffed beancurd skin, taufu pok, fried wantan and fish balls. The curry broth was quite fragrant and looked OK upon serving - it lacked the oomph I was looking for. ▪️braised chicken feet with mushroom - lighter tasting style of braising and suitable for those who didn’t like strong taste. The chicken feet’s texture was very good though - sucking everything was effortless.
Overall a favourite among those who stay nearby, but I’ll stick to my favourite Kedai Kopi Ah Soon in Kubang...
