Price have increased a lot!! It used to be my fav place to lepak but not anymore. Prices have become so expensive, yet can't even to pay by card. They've upgraded the menu system to be fully digitalized, with QR payment and fully pass the cost to customers, hence the expensive price.

Ordered kuey teow tomyam. All this for RM9 without any vegetables. If you want to add anything to the kuey teow, it requires extra cost. Taste average.

Another thing I want to critically complain here is the Quran recitation. Muslim myself, I don't think it's a good business strategy and inappropriate to play Quran recitation when you have customers coming from various background. Imagine you as a Muslim dining in a Chinese restaurant, and hear Budhhist monk recitation in the background. Don't you feel uncomfortable. That's what the Chinese Buddhist Christian feels when you play Quran at high volume.

Bye Bye Anita. Thanx for...

Sharing my recent experience:

The good: -Plenty of seats and tables available, with open-air seating as an option. -Staff are attentive. -A wide variety of choices on the menu. -Easy to order and pay using the online QR system. -Several big-screen TVs are available for watching football.

Not so good: Prices are quite high, and some basic items are treated as add-ons. Staff seem 'overly busy,' constantly walking around, sweeping, mopping the floor unnecessarily every few minutes, and wiping tables. It feels like they’re instructed to keep moving as if they’d be punished otherwise—it’s strange. Staff repeatedly ask to take my plate or bowl away before I’m finished with my food. What’s with this odd behavior? Are you short on plates? Let people finish their meals first.

What an...

The restaurant seems to be a local’s favourite. Even more popular than the mamak around the corner. I went for a drink with a couple of mates after we reached our hometown. The restaurant was open for iftar until sahur (4 pm-5 am). Even after midnight, customers continued pouring in and struggled to get a table. As expected, orders took a long to arrive but not unreasonably long. We ordered hot drinks, and they were delivered freshly made and steaming hot. The restaurant was clean and well-staffed. They wore aprons and hair coverings (caps). I haven’t had the chance to try their foods yet, so that’s for...

Oh man, the nasi lemak is tasty and cheap. The sambal with onion in it earns it a very high score. The rice is good too although the telur mata is a little too greasy. Staff can be a bit mudleheaded sometimes but are friendly in general. No air-conditioning of course but if you are on late afternoon or evening, this can be quite comfortable.
