Really love the dry version of the bak kut teh. The wok hei can be smelt from afar. Plenty of seatings available at safe distance. Helpful staff always attending to your table. As an islander, I used to travel across the bridge to have a meal here before visiting the St. Anne's church, which is opposite the restaurant. Ample parking spaces here. The dry and soup version of the claypot dishes always come in pipingly hot. The okras used to serve as part of the dry version are very fresh and always crunchy, speaking as a person who does not favour okras much. The chopped garlic and other condiments are always served and ready on the table regardless how far the table is located from the kitchen. If I could remenber, they also provide unlimited soup addition when having the meal. The restaurant is easy to find as it is located at a walking distance to the St Annes church. Been patronising over the past 6 years and the price is still maintained at affordable price with excellent service. They also provide takeaway during the pandemic period. Really grateful for having a good place to savour bak kut teh without having to travel all the way down South to Klang. :)

This bak kut teh establishment consistently operates at full capacity, requiring patrons to endure long queues. The allure lies in the delectably hot and tasty food, accompanied by an enticing aroma that lingers. The experience is incomplete without pairing it with rice, creating a taste that leaves a lasting impression in your memory. Situated in a location boasting ample parking space, which is free at night, adds to its appeal. This convenience makes it an ideal spot to bring together friends and family. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the savory dishes, transforms this bak kut teh place into more than just a dining spot; it becomes a preferred destination for shared moments and enjoyable meals.

Stumbled upon this bak kut teh place unexpectedly. Delicious food – • Soup is rich with herbal flavor. • Meat is tender and not dry. • Dry version is fragrant, with squid adding extra aroma. Popular spot – • Arrived around 5pm and it was already nearly full. Good service – • Staff were friendly. • Requested soup refill and it was served quickly. Minor downsides – • Vegetables were slightly overcooked. • 油炸鬼were too oily. Reasonable pricing – fair for the quality and portion. Overall – Highly recommended and would return!
