Really love the dry version of the bak kut teh. The wok hei can be smelt from afar. Plenty of seatings available at safe distance. Helpful staff always attending to your table. As an islander, I used to travel across the bridge to have a meal here before visiting the St. Anne's church, which is opposite the restaurant. Ample parking spaces here. The dry and soup version of the claypot dishes always come in pipingly hot. The okras used to serve as part of the dry version are very fresh and always crunchy, speaking as a person who does not favour okras much. The chopped garlic and other condiments are always served and ready on the table regardless how far the table is located from the kitchen. If I could remenber, they also provide unlimited soup addition when having the meal. The restaurant is easy to find as it is located at a walking distance to the St Annes church. Been patronising over the past 6 years and the price is still maintained at affordable price with excellent service. They also provide takeaway during the pandemic period. Really grateful for having a good place to savour bak kut teh without having to travel all the way down South...
