MY Hotel is not the newest in town but it has undergone renovation. The electronic card key is used to gain access to the room but it is not used to activate the electrical supply in the room for there is no card slot to be inserted in. We were asked to pay RM50 as refundable room deposit. The hotel has its own private parking area, which is situated in front of a nearby condominium. ||||We stayed one night in a standard room. We were provided with a total of three pillows. We thought the air-conditioned room was rather small but we were fine with it since we did not have large suitcases/bags. There is a small table, a stool, and a plastic chair in the room. Room amenities included two complimentary bottled water, coffee/tea making facilities, television, telephone, wardrobe and luggage storage area. There is a waist-length mirror found near the table, and another mirror in the ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom has a washing basin, a hot/cold standing shower, toilet, body towel, and floor mat. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap and toilet paper are provided. There are three power outlets in the room (two near the table and one next to the bed). ||||Water dispenser (hot/cold/room temperature) is provided near the lift of the same level. Snacks and cup noodles can be purchased from the reception counter. With the limited choices available in Bukit Mertajam, we opined that it was a good choice to stay in this hotel in view of its strategic location. There are many food outlets...
Read moreNOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! The receptionist have collected RM80 for towels which we use with reason there is a stain on my last day check out. Its just a little and tiny mark of lipstick and eyeliner. A very tiny mark. The receptionist inform me that the amount collected is just a security deposit which will be refunded upon the towel is back from laundry. After 1 week i called and the hotel inform me that the money is not refundable because the stain didn’t go off. The stain is not a coffee or period stain. Its just a tiny and light mark of liptick and eyeliner. Its totally weird and unfair. Even if we wash the towel by own the mark can go off. The best part the receptionist keep passing the call to other including cleaner to speak to me. And they are rude. In the 3night stay they change the towel that time there was no a single complaint from them its ridiculous right? I have stayed in big resorts and 5star hotels they have never been this way. It’s good to earn but dont earn but cheating a customer!
