Starbucks Simpang Ampat DT — Restaurant in Penang

It's a bad morning for both Starbucks and, more importantly, us. Water supply problem and electricity interruption -- so they claimed -- so they can't serve any hot drinks. The service is bad. Really bad. The poor new girl at the casher was completely lost, and her senior was not doing anything to help her. That same senior girl was also very rude when serving the drink to us -- she just dropped the drink on the table and turned away immediately before I could react. Apparently they were not trained on basic customer service skills at all. Over the 20 minutes struggles, they never utter a single word of sorry or thank. So where was the manager when he/she was desperately...

Staff are very helpful and deliver great service! I try their new menu which is ayam percik pasta by fazley yaakob. But the food taste not good. I know even they use ready to eat meal, they should bring and rmd good quality with nice taste food. If like this, no one will order their food and whats the purpose of promoting if the food not good. Better stick to only drinks. Drinks are ok service very good. Charging everywhere you can do your work business...

Brand new outlet but I was forced to use cash.. App and credit card services were down. What was more unappealing was that the staff were so loud. So loud that I couldn't hear my partner speak. We had to switch seats in order to get some peace and quiet. Staff has no work etiquette. Reflects poorly on management. Will go to Coffee Bean across the road next time. I would urge others to think twice before coming here.
