Wang Ji Bak Kut Teh 旺记肉骨茶(BM Famous) — Restaurant in Penang

I would like to help those 1st timer advise on how this restaurant ordering being handled. You need to get the number from the staff/lady boss, then being seated and wait patiently for the lady boss to take the order from you (might up to 35mins if is crowded). The lady boss will only take the order from you when your food is ready to be cooked after 2 orders before you already served. This how their ordering SOP. So don't be offended that they didn't serve you after u get your number.

Ok, back to the BKT, I would said so far the best I tasted in Penang which I personally felt still cannot compete to Klang BKT. I would said was worth the waiting time and is cheap which only RM14 per person which cannot find in Klang...

I order 1 person and 1 small. Small want without meal. Somehow they not allow this kind of order. No flexibility at all. Request for yew cha kuih, probably already 8pm and finish. But this the necessary with bak kut teh. Owner not do a good preparation. But worst is when I ask for it, if finish just tell customer finish but he said look at there if finish mean finish. It's a very good Bakut Teh. The taste is very good. Nothing wrong with the food. But the place is kinda a bit dirty. You have to wait very long but the food was worth it. You need to immediately ask for the number or else you will be waiting for Nothing. The service is not top notch but they are not rude. But I am willing to come again for the food. Have coming here several times and the food never dissappoint. Definitely recommended just need...
