1. overall - Chinese restaurant serving plenty of good food, price is considered cheap, value for money on the ingredient used, pre-book before your event, tends to be full if walk-in, plenty of food selection such as yam basket, pork ribs, steamed fish and many more from Best View Restaurant
2. stir fry prawn - so aromatic and super fresh prawn, flavourful, could taste the sweetness from the prawn and good mixture of saltiness from the sauce
3. stir fry mixed vegetable with macadamia nut and scallop - loved this dish, very refreshing and uses premium ingredient
4. salted chicken with alcohol - tender and juicy chicken, great pair with white rice
5. mushroom tofu - tasted okay
6. stir fry vegetable - tasted okay
7. yam basket (vegetarian) - full of macadamia nuts, loved the mushiness from the yam and the taste, could be better if there were more sauce
8. 海味煲 premium seafood treasure pot - loved this dish the most, full of surprises, uses premium ingredient such as sea cucumber, fish maw, dried oyster, dried scallop and mushroom, loved the taste, everything is just tender and all the umami flavour soaked into every pieces in the pot, suitable for all ages.
9. tofu with mushroom - tasted above average, tofu was homemade, tasted fresh and smooth, great combo with mushroom
10. seaweed soup - tasted good with the rainy days, flavourful and full of ingredients
11. stir fry bean sprout with salted fish - fresh bean sprout, would be nicer if the salted fish is smaller pieces
12. steamed fish - tasted okay just that we didn’t really like the fish
13. vegetable cooked with century egg - tasted good
14. yong taufoo - silky smooth tofu wrapped with fresh fish paste, good combo, highly...

This evening ordered clay pot red tailed catfish. Taste is good, fish is fresh and cooking superb. Red tailed catfish (红尾貓) is my favourite freshwater fish. Meat is very springy when fresh. 7/1/2024 Sunday Had not been eating in this restaurant for some time. Came here quite a number of times actually but without booking, hence always turned away by its ‘Full House’ sign hanging high outside. Today’s lunch was on the invitation of a friend, he had booked in advance hence there were seats for us. Just imagine putting up ‘Full House’ sign when they just opened for lunch. Food here was still one of the best, and prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants of similar standings around Menglembu area. Premium seafood treasure pot still ranked top in my choice of their dishes but regrettably price for this dish had been slightly adjusted...

Discriminatory and Disappointing Service I had another frustrating experience at The Best View Seafood Restaurant. Every time I call to make a booking, they claim they’re fully booked. Today, I decided to walk in, only to be told—yet again—that no tables were available. However, I noticed plenty of empty tables inside!

It seems like they only prioritize certain customers, and I can’t help but feel that my ethnicity plays a role in being constantly turned away. As an Indian customer, it’s disheartening to see this kind of treatment when everyone should be treated equally.

The management needs to address this issue and provide fair service to all. No matter how good the food or view might be, this kind of behavior leaves...
