Despite some initial hesitation due to mixed Google reviews, Mayiivip Homestay turned out to be a great choice for our family trip. Since we were traveling with my elderly uncle and aunt and I have limited mobility, the single-story layout was a major plus. The stay was cozy, and the host was responsive once we figured out the best way to communicate.

Key Notes for Future Guests: ⚠️ Check-in Time: Agoda listed 12 AM, but the actual check-in is 3 PM—this needs to be corrected to avoid confusion. ⚠️ Deposit: Not mentioned on Agoda, so be prepared to pay one upon arrival. 📱 Pro Tip: If you don’t get a reply on Agoda, WhatsApp the host directly—they respond much faster!

What We Liked: ✔ Spacious, clean, and well-maintained with air conditioning in all rooms. ✔ Two bathrooms—one with a sitting toilet (master bedroom) and another with a squatting toilet (kitchen area), both with hot water showers. ✔ Basic toiletries (shampoo, soap) provided—helpful for short stays. ✔ Quick deposit refund (checked out Sunday, refund received by Wednesday).

We were wrongly accused by the owner of taking a towel, and as a result, they deducted our deposit. We never took any towel, yet they insisted we return something we never took. After reading other reviews, it seems we’re not the only ones who’ve been falsely accused. We’ve stayed at many homestays and have never taken anything from any place. It’s really frustrating to feel like you’re being scammed just to make easy money off guests’ deposits. Please stop this...

We stayed at this homestay for two nights. It's very centrally located. Although toilet paper wasn't ready, the customer service staff responded quickly and delivered it within 10 minutes. We were very satisfied with the service. We'll definitely stay at this B&B again next time we're in...
