Was looking forward to this place for the bingsu and dessert plus a decent cuppa. As it was past tea time at almost 4pm, the shop was empty. We ordered 10 items as there were 7 of us. Our orders arrived without any announcement of the items resulting in a confusion on the curry puff, sardine puff and chicken pies. They served two similar looking pastries first. Thinking it must be the pies since two of us ordered the same item, we starting eating them. I then asked about my husband’s curry puff which was taking quite a while and the guy, whom I assumed was the co-owner said it was being prepared. The cappuccino was a disappointment at RM 9 as it was obviously not from freshly grounded coffee beans. When the pies arrived, I was rather annoyed as we realised that 4 of us didn’t get to eat what we ordered because of the inefficiency of the wait staffs. It turned out that My husband’s curry puff and the sardine puff were served on the same plate at the beginning where we thought must be the pies! To top it off, the puffs were cold on the inside. We had to send them back twice! It’s quite ghastly to have to eat cold pastries. First of all, each order should be announced upon serving so that there’s no confusion as to who gets what. Secondly, why would anyone serve two different puffs on one single plate? Do they expect us to share the plate? The worse was when confronted with these confusions and issues with the lady who was obviously the other co-owner, she was outright rude and defiant asking me if I wanted to return it with no apologies whatsoever. This is truly unacceptable as it was totally their fault that caused the dining experience somewhat lacklustre despite the good bingsu. O yes, the croissant was tiny too. Prices are lower than KL price but the portion equates that. Hence, not that “cheap” as some people would say. The only saving grace was that the guy owner apologised for the mistake at the end. At least he’s got the proper attitude towards what should be good service especially in the...

Read moreWent on a short 2D1N trip to Pangkor with a few friends, and with the weather being hot, so we decided to rest at this bingsu cafe. I got the Peach Bingsu which is pretty standard and nothing to shout about. You can tell it’s more of the artificial flavour kind, but honestly, can’t complain too much for the price. It was around RM13, which is cheaper than what you'd usually pay in Penang. Not amazing, but did the job...
