A Trip Down Memory Lane... Almost Restoran DumSum Paradise was a delightful walk down memory lane. The bustling atmosphere, the familiar clatter of plates, and the scent of steaming dumplings instantly transported me back to childhood visits with my family. It was a sensory feast even before the food arrived. The service was fast and friendly. Our plates were filled with a delightful variety of dim sum, each one a miniature masterpiece. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) were plump and juicy, the siu mai (pork dumplings) perfectly seasoned, and the char siu bao (barbecued pork buns) fluffy and sweet. It was a delicious journey through all the classics. Unfortunately, the magic sputtered a bit with the final dish, the fried yam cake. It arrived almost unrecognizable. Peeking through a mountain of bean sprouts, the yam cake itself looked tired and unappetizing. Taking a bite confirmed my fears - it was definitely not fresh. I brought this to the attention of the floor manager, hoping it was just an oversight. While they were apologetic and explained it was a new cook on only their second day, it did put a damper on the experience. Maintaining high food quality is crucial, especially for a restaurant with such a strong reputation. While I understand new staff need training, a closer eye on their work is essential to avoid disappointing longtime customers like myself. Despite this misstep, the rest of the meal was fantastic. Here's hoping Restoran DumSum Paradise uses this as a learning experience and continues to deliver the delicious and authentic flavors that have brought them so much success.

Dim Sum Paradise is nothing short of a 5-star haven for foodies like me. Trust me on this, you need to order everything on the menu because everything is a culinary delight. Now, let's talk about the Salted Egg Mantou. It's not just good; it's in a league of its own, surpassing the competition by miles. I'm not here to promote, but when something's this exceptional, it deserves a shout-out. I've ventured through many Dim Sum joints in the vicinity, but Dim Sum Paradise stands out for having it all. The ambiance, though it's a cozy nook, isn't overcrowded, even on a bustling Saturday. This is a rarity because most places rush you in and out like a food assembly line. But this place? It's a tranquil oasis where you can savor your meal at your own pace, a simple yet delightful dining spot. Now, let's talk about the polo bun filled with pork bun goodness. It's like a culinary experiment that paid off big time. In a world where creativity reigns supreme, this unique twist on a classic is a testament to their culinary ingenuity. The combination of the serene ambiance, delectable food, and innovative dishes makes Dim Sum Paradise an absolute gem. Whether you're winding down with friends for a hearty breakfast or gearing up for an epic lunch, this place has you covered. All in all, Dim Sum Paradise has earned my unwavering applause. I'll definitely be back for more food adventures in this delightful haven.

The place has a horrifying amount of flies and make the dining experience really uncomfortable. We have to keep swatting away the flies to prevent them landing on our food. The place is very warm as the aircon is very weak. So, I felt like I have just completed a workout coming out from the shop. Environment aside, the food tastes so so. The pork porridge has very few century eggs slices and the meat tastes not fresh. The red dates jelly is too sweet that we can’t even force ourselves to finish it. The only dishes that are nice the prawn dumplings (har gow) and chee cheong fun wrapped with fried dough stick. They gave very little sambal chilli sauce for the chee cheong fun dish and we have to ask for more. The only saving grace is that the steamed dim sum are hot and fresh. Very disappointing.

Food is actually not bad, we used to patron this place for all our dim sum cravings. However, our few recent visits have been quite disappointing, especially its service. Most of the staff are having the "I don't care" and "I don't wanna be here" attitude. They are quite rude and inattentive. Placing the wrong order and forgetting some of our orders happened every time during our recent visits. Cleanliness of the place is also very important, putting a few buckets to store the dirty plates and utensils in the middle of the restaurant surrounded by all the customer tables seems very inappropriate and not very hygienic. There is so much room to improve and hopefully it will be improved.

Good place to come for dim sum if you don’t want to wait in the crowd. Some popular places are too crowded and will spoil your mood cause the waiting time is too long. Price is as high as other places but at least shorter waiting time. Came here twice, first time was too crowded and they missed out some of my items but I didn’t blame them cause I can see that the shop was too crowded for that few staffs to handle. So I pay a second visit and this time it is less crowded so this time much better experience.

Overall: 4.5 stars Food: 5 stars Coffee was quite good above average I would say All the dim sum we tried was great. Served hot and up to par. Ambience: 5 stars Clean, minimalist type of restaurant, cozy and comfortable and air conditioned Service: 5 stars The waiters are helpful and are always helping around. One of them served us chili oil and it tasted so good Price: $$ Quite expensive but it's still worth a try. The food was worth the price.
