Restoran Makanan Laut Choy Kee — Restaurant in Perak

This restaurant does not have the experience to handle high volume during peak time. It was 25 Dec 2024. We understand that there were many people. Arrived about 7:45pm, there is no menu. So we waited for 10-15 minutes for order because only one person can take an order. The other staff were like mannequins and do not know how to take order because cannot write. Order taken and we waited. All was fine under we asked for status at 8:30pm.Nobody can answer. Nobody can tell. Only the person who took order can answer as replied but she busy taking order. The person who took the order then walk into the kitchen and said next is yours. We waited. At 8:45pm, asked again. Same answers. Next is yours. Best part is, the person who took the order start to talk loud to me next is yours. I asked how long ? She replied 10 minutes as if like I owe her money.

If you cannot handle big volume, don’t over promise next is yours. I still have my choice. I was with my in laws , two teenage son and 10 years starving nephew.

We walk off after. If the restaurant is to offer free food I won’t even consider eating there.

Because of Marpoh restaurant nearby close only you have such volume!

Won’t even come back even free...

Absolutely horrendous service by the lady owner, waiting longer than 2 hours receiving no food at all. The chefs there are just standing around when there are many orders to take, doing NOTHING. Praying, meditating, daydreaming, my food not going to cook itself right.

Worst part of all, the lady owner kept repeating 10 more minutes, even after hours of starving.

We were about to head out, until the lady asked us to wait for yet again another 10 more minutes, (might as well ask us wait forever) and scolded us loudly for being impatient to leave. The lady is so bossy and rude! She outright complained and shouted to us instead of apologizing for the long wait. This lady is a terrible person.

After wasting more than hours of our time, We left without eating.

Please save your time, money, patience, temper elsewhere. Do not entertain this restaurant ever. Just go to Marpoh for better food, service, and environment....

Bad service！！Didn’t have any response when we asking why our table still not ready during our booking time. We wait outside for half and hour, we ask the boss why our table was not ready, the boss like don’t want to answer us, didn’t say sorry at all and just tell us she don’t want to explain to us! After sat down, waiting for too long only have dishes. During Chinese new year if can’t afford so many order just don’t accept so many order and gave a bad experience for the customer. Waiting for so long for eating a reunion dinner and didn’t get any explanation when we ask for reason! ！10pm we still not have our dinner and we arrive here at 8pm. We are not having our dinner but we are having our supper! What’s is this service? Will not come for the...
