Restoran Walid dan ummi — Restaurant in Perak

This is a good place to eat. The food is good and delicious. I came here twice for lunch. The second time I came a bit late around 2 pm and most of the food was finished. So, if you wanna come and dine here, better come early. They do have a menu that you can order as well but most customers came here for a variety of local dishes. They also sell simple cut cakes like moist choc cakes and local kuih muih. The owner's son told me the restaurant is open from 7 am to 4 pm. The food is plentiful, tasty and with many varieties; you are spoilt for choice. The place is big and on the day we went, they were entertaining a retired teacher. The owner welcomed us loud and clear with his microphone and reminded us about observing the Covid SOP. As we ate, he entertained his customers. Very, very friendly atmosphere. This restaurant mainly serves assorted malay-style dishes during lunch (it closes on 4pm), but the taste is plate licking delicious (really i'd do that if no one around). I came at 2pm, only a few dishes left, but the "ayam percik" that i took really tasty albeit it no longer warm. The "sup tulang" is magnificent; its broth light yet flavourful, and the meat just drop from the bone. Definitely I'll return whenever I'm in...
