Visited TBH recently and overall, it's a pleasant spot to dine. The restaurant is located at a strategic corner of the shop lots, making it easy to find and offering plenty of parking nearby. The atmosphere inside is cozy and welcoming, suitable for families and even young kids.
They serve a variety of hot food, breads, pastries, and cakes. The food tastes good, portions are generous, and the waiting time is reasonable—around 10 to 15 minutes after ordering. It’s also nice that their food options are quite kid-friendly.
A special mention to two of the service staff, Syaznef and another girl with glasses—both were extremely kind, polite, and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm attitude made our experience even better.
However, the experience at the bread station was disappointing. There were two lady cashiers who handled things quite roughly, even though the place wasn't crowded at the time. They packed the bread carelessly, mistakenly charged us for another customer’s items, and were abrupt when removing items from our bag. Later, they did come back to inform us of the overcharge and offered a refund, which we appreciate—but the manner of service could be improved.
Everyone has their own kindness and deserves respect, but when it comes to customer service, professionalism is key. I hope management takes note and improves the service consistency, especially at the bread counter.
Would still recommend TBH for the food and ambiance, and with a bit more training for staff, it could be a top...

This is actually the second time I’ve faced this issue! Last year, for Mother’s Day, I tried to order a custom-made cake. At first, they said yes, everything was good, we were finalizing the details and then suddenly, “Sorry, we don’t accept custom cake orders during this period.”😂
This year, I decided not to go for a custom cake… but guess what? Another problem! I don’t know if it’s because the cake was cheap, but they wouldn’t let me pre-order, saying, "Our cakes are freshly made every day, so there’s definitely stock!"
But then shoutout to this one staff member (a tall Malay guy) he was so helpful! He took my number and told me to book today so he could reserve one for me to pick up tomorrow. So today, I messaged them as requested… and guess what? TBH replied saying there’s no record of this! And if I wanted, they could…keep today’s cake for me to take tomorrow?
Wait, what? 😨 Today’s cake for tomorrow? But I thought they said they make them fresh daily, so why can’t I get a fresh one tomorrow? Isn’t that a total contradiction? First, they say "no need to book, fresh make every day," and now they’re offering me…yesterday’s cake?
Seriously, what’s...
Read moreI recently visited The Baker's Hut (TBH) and wanted to share my impressions of the experience:
Satisfactory Food: Is decent, and one notable aspect is the generous portions served. Patrons can expect satisfying portions with each dish.
Pleasant Ambiance: The overall ambiance is nice, creating a comfortable setting for diners. However, it is worth noting that the space feels a bit compact (sempit) and could benefit from additional lighting to enhance the dining atmosphere.
Bread and Cake Variety: Stands out with its extensive selection of bread and cakes. The diverse choices cater to various tastes, providing a delightful array of options for patrons with a sweet tooth or those simply looking for quality baked goods.
In summary, they offer satisfactory food with generous portions, a pleasant albeit slightly compact ambiance, and an impressive variety of bread and cakes. It's a suitable choice for those who appreciate ample servings and a diverse selection of...
