TL;DR: Decent food, bad service, not worth the price
I booked a table for Christmas Eve at 8pm. They only had a limited Christmas menu we could order from, which was fine with us. Appetizer, soup, main and dessert.
However, when it came time to order, they told us that they'd run out of both soup options, as well as the tiramisu. I didn't mind the dessert, but I was shocked at how they could run out of both soup options on the menu, considering that we'd made a reservation in advance. They decided to replace it with mushroom soup but charged us the same price for the set (despite the ox-tail and seafood chowder being more expensive).
The mains were well-cooked and seasoned. My spiced grilled lamb was delicious and my friend's prawns were tender and sweet. However, the appetizers were small and quite pretentious (2 slices of cucumber with mayo and unagi isn't a salad imo).
Service was abysmal. The owner was very good and capable, but when it came to the rest of the staff, they seemed out of their depth. They checked our reservation and sat us down. Then, another waiter asked about our reservation again. They tried to take our orders twice but forgot to show us the drinks menu after we'd already ordered our food.
At one point, a waiter brought two bowls of soup to the table, but only served one and took the other bowl to a different table, despite all 3 orders being the same bowl of mushroom soup!
Overall, the food was good but let down by the service. For the prices they're chargi ng, did not expect the service...
Read moreWent during lunch time with my husband and baby after doing banking at CIMB. When we were there, there were 2 empty seats (as in the picture), 1 table near walkway entrance where people queuing up to scan, 2 tables near the wall. I requested the one near the wall as it's further away from the walkway and we were with 1yo baby so her things and our food will use up both tables. But my request was rejected by the server and said that's for 4 pax. Ok we took the one near the walkway. Few moments later, 2 men sit down at the table I wanted for us. The server didn't even say anything to them. So what's this? Discrimination towards those with babies or children? They are not human and don't deserve a proper seating? When they open few years ago I used to find there. The service was good because it's newly open, need to build customer base. Few years later, look what we got. I will never go back again. For the sidenote, I have to put my baby's food in my chair, corner corner and transfer the food around because baby grab everything. Need to keep her hands away from hot plates etc. Horrible...

Very friendly staff & cozy environment. The food was delicous at very good price. My number one pick for the dinner ~ Grilled Lamb Shoulder (me very choosy when come to lamb dishes as will not able to eat it if got strong smell/taste) - well marinated & the meat was juicy & tender 😋 Will definately...
